Claw, Morabito at 3!

Is that personal preference or how you see the draft panning out?

Playing with 19 on the ground there Diana Ross. I know we're bad, but not even we'd get away with that.

You can almost put a line through the next 3 years as well.

Disagree - I firmly believe we have good quality in about half the kids on our list - it is just that they have not been developed correctly for AFL and that they had a game plan that made them look bad footballers. With a no nonsense approach that Hardwick claims he has and the fact that these kids will be taught to play for the team and when its their turn to get the hard ball they go and get it. I reckon we will all get a few surprises next year from young players that I/you and most of PRE had written off. Not all of them will make the cut (golf term) that Hardwick will define but then that is the cycle of footy clubs - not all make the cut at Collingwood or Essendon or Carlton or West Coast or Adelaide etc etc.

Way to much work needs to be put into this club to make it a competitive force once more.

Agree there is a lot of work to do - but in situations like this - "some quick results can come out of the blue" - whilst always working towards a 3 to 5 year plan of a premiership. E.G. Did anybody really expect Essendon to make the finals this year with the list of kids they have? I didn't - but it just goes to show what a strong off-field Footy Department can achieve with player development and the right attitude/culture.

Individually there is talent on the list, unfortunately they haven't been coached to play as a team. If Hardwick can get some sort of team bonding to take place over the summer they'll still struggle because there are too many holes on every line, but at least they will show improvement and give the coach more of an idea what he's got to work with and who he has to cut going forward. With all this talk of delisting and the numbers being thrown around I don't want the mistakes of the past to be repeated. Terry came in, cut a whole bunch of players, all the must goes and then got rid of virtually no one from that time on and this is why the club are in the current mess. The rebuild has to be gradual over the next 2 - 3 seasons.
