Yep, already suggested that.

I am not saying plumbers are doing it tough or anything, but its not all massive profit like your thinking.
He didn't just magically appear at your house so it's fair to say there were some travel costs involved! while he is travelling to your house ( could be in traffic and could take hours) he can't be earning money so that cost is passed on to you.
I assume he didn't use his hand to unblock the drain. depending on what machine he uses, some cost over $10000. something has to pay for that.
like all businesses, he has many ongoing costs like insurances which also come from this "profit"
there is also a fair amount of risk involved with putting drain cleaning equipment down drains. If the machine gets stuck (it happens) it may need to be dug up. if that's under your driveway, all that needs to be ripped up and replaced. Guess where the money fro that will come from.....this Massive profit he makes. so while he does make extra on jobs like yours, If the day comes where the worst happens, he needs to allow for that risk in his prices.
there is also the fact he has to deal with sh!t all day too ;D

You left out:
Costt of advertising for business
Hours each month or quarter doing his BAS/GST
Working out of hours at home doing his other paperwork.
Insurance - vehicle, equipment, loss of profits, public liability, etc
Phone Bills
Vehicle costs, petrol, maintenance, etc
Cost of buying new or eplacement equipment
the list goes on.
People think the hourly rate just covers the tradies time on the job. I'd estimate the "labour" component of the cost is maybe a tad over 50% of the total cost.
2c.
