Pick 53: Jack Graham

Interesting to go back to page 1 of this thread with some poster's calling him a dud the day he was drafted.

Geelong wanted him.

Carlton had #59 & #61 he would have definately been gone by our #64

We would still have bid on Ryan Garthwait with #64 had we held that pick

Richo 282 games 1 finals win, Graham 4 games 2 finals wins and counting.

There is an article on Graham in the HS today. He is still bemused why he dropped so far in the draft but is now a blessing in disguise as he is running out on GF day :clap

He doesn't seem to lack confidence (in a good way). He seems to be intent on proving everyone wrong.

Was frustrated at getting injured during pre & early season. He would never have imagined how his year would end up turning out

I liked the article and reckon if his body holds up he could become our 200 gamer midfield general - our Treloar in other words at pick 53 verses 2 first rounders - how's that Eddie

Very very different player to Treloar - Our Joel

I think he will become a hybrid version or cross between Dane Swan & Joel Selwod,

Looks, runs, disposes and will amass the possessions of Dane Swan

Hunts the pill and tackles like Joel Selwood

Now more commonly known as SWANWOOD.....

I think he is more a combination of Shane Biggs from the Dogs and Jason Ball from West Coast.

He's his own man, and to think that he's good enough to play in a GF after 5 games is astounding. How good's he going to be after 50 games?
