Pick 53: Jack Graham

We don't tag.

Why tag him when 90% of his possessions do nothing.
If Neale starts to have an influence, Hardwick will send Graham to him and most likely get Flappers to play on Myluggage.

Exactly finals are different. Higher stakes at hand.

I still get wound up over Mr USA but we allowed Sidebum to do as he wished and he was one of the reasons they got silver platter delivery to their forwards.

So I think it comes down to the state of the game, his influence, effectiveness & if he is hitting the scoreboard. Jack can hurt him the other way as Neale goes stat hunting and may pay as much respect as Sloane found out in the GF.

he has improved greatly since returning into the side. Two major things that I've noticed (already others have spoken about this) is his attacking flair (has on a number of occasions hit targets in the 45 mtrres area coming from the centre / wings) and his pace. Watching the freo game, he took the ball in the centre and Mundy was chasing (Mundy was getting further behind) and that's in the fourth quarter. Has a great tank. Go Fridge do us proud.

Worked into the game and hard. Looked like he got caught onside a few times early. Did he bat too high? Rallied. Ok, imo.

The only one who could hit a target by foot. Played well in first half, one of our best. Does he need to build his tank? Seems to fade late in the game

Like the bulk of the team, failed to get out of second gear for the second half. I could understand one player doing so but the bulk of the team? A mindset issue?

I think so...anyone who has played footy on here would have to admit subconsciously that teams you have the wood over, you just always think “ no matter what we will always beat these guys “.
Unfortunately you sometimes need a wake up call when it doesn’t happen.

young jack was enormous last night.

Nank stole his tackling thunder,

But Jack did a superb job curtailing Ollie Wines.

Wines has had a great month and hes a huge, powerful contested beast.

He got some ball, but didn't hurt us.

when Jack copped the stinger and went off for 10 minutes or so, Wines immediately became very influential and hurt us.

then jack came back on, and tamed him back down.

Another inspirational prelim from Jack Graham.

I was surprised Wines had 24 touches, the only time I noticed him last night, Shedda put him on his arse in the goal square.

He will be fired up to make up for missing out last year.

He is a finals specialists.

Can anyone remember who he played on in our game against the cats and if it’s the Lions could Hardwick pull out a special and have him run with Neale which would surprise everyone as we don’t normally do lock down jobs any more.

The Fridge is a ripper. So pleased he will be front and centre for the Big Dance.
Reckon he's going to have a big game next Saturday night.

this guy has improved greatly since coming back to the side mid year. He has worked his backside off to get here and he is not letting it slip by. Great work Jack, keep it coming.
