Pick 53: Jack Graham

Honestly

I would not be ruling him out just yet

Jack will do everything in his powers to prove to the match committee that he is fit to play in the Big Dance.
It will be a big ask, almost improbable, but he won't die wondering in his efforts to get there.

Copped a bit last year for being awarded Life Membership but last night justified it.

Sacrificed himself for the team while knowing that doing so would pretty much rule him out of the GF.

That's the Richmond way.

That dislocation was from a pretty innocuous tackle. His shoulders are always going to be an issue. Unfortunately I don't think he'll have a super long career because of it. Going to be sorely missed in the GF.

Nah theylle just tighten the ligaments a bit after the gf

like straining a fence. Easy

Yes normally that's fine but he's had so many serious problems already with his shoulders in his career. Each time weakens it further and less reliable. Then you have to go through the rehab again.

I hope we don't take him into the GF injured. It hardly ever pays off, and while he has been pretty good defensively lately he is not crucial.

Ross, Stack or even Kamdyn will probably give us more.

Reminds me of Shane Tuck a few years ago in Adelaide. Players like Shane and Jack show the true spirit of Tigerland
Shane Tuck, what an underrated and under appreciated player(supporters and coaches). A clearance player for the ages

He has already said he's working with the Richmond doctors to try be fit for next week, but realises that its a very unlikely chance he'll play.

As for him copping a bit - he's had more than his fair share of critics on this site taking pot shots at him (even some saying get rid of him and trade him out, he's not going to improve). I seriously haven't been able to understand the criticism, particularly for someone so young. We've craved having players like him for 30 years. Tough, talented and good leaders. If any Tiger walks out next week and isn't prepared to give what Jack gave us yesterday, they should turn in their jumpers.

"Nothin' more Tigerish than a bloody Tiger, a wounded Tiger."

It only had to be said once. JG just lives to replicate those words.

There's a young "Captain Blood" in the making if I ever saw one. Has already made legend status amongst the tiger faithful.

That brainless twit Cornes was very disrespectful about graham.
‘He is someone you can replace, he your 21st or 22nd player”
Has Cornes watched the 2017 GF. Or is it banned in SA

I'm sure he'll put his hand up, but like Rance, he will be asking himself the question "if I re-injure this susceptible shoulder in the first 5 minutes, what will that mean for the game/team?". Won't play.
