Other games Rnd 3

Yeah I gave it 5 min then turned to Ch 7 to get some footy discussion seeing I didn’t watch the second half - the fox show was all class …………….rubbish.
As someone said on twitter, FoxFooty now has 10 shows with the same 5 blokes sitting in different positions on a couch.

Collingwood just ran out of legs last night.

It showed us two things, the first being that Geelong are really unable to cope with high pressure, frantic games. Selwood was belting blokes because he was being reminded of his inability to impact when there is speed on the game. The cats have an ordinary midfield.

The other thing last night showed us is how hard it is to play Richmond footy for four quarters. Our group of premiership players should be remembered as truly impressive athletes and I reckon last night was a reminder of what guys like Jason Castagna and Kamdyn McIntosh have given us.
Noone will play like Richmond.
The 2nd half of 2019 and 95% of 2018 will never be seen again.
We had speed, skill, toughness and most importantly the fitness to carry out the game style.
Good luck Collingwood copying that with Adams, turn over merchant.
Penderbury and Elliott slower then a Galapagos tortoise.
There smalls are super slow.

I saw Kane Cornes is using the defence that the opposition against port have been unusually accurate with set shots at goal against port. If it was on the afl averages they would be 2 and 1.

And the hideous song from that ‘band’ that could have been a straight throwback from the ‘live and kicking’ abomination in the 90s.

Completely uninspired and uninteresting.

Gold Coast woeful. Just dumb and insipid. Running around like headless chooks, bombing and fumbling. A lot of players playing well below par, all their recruits are overpaid rejects. Miller only shining light, and Casboult had a crack. North also terrible. What's to be done with these 2 basket cases?

What did we get for Chol and CJ again? Whatever it was, we made out like bandits, superbly played. Chols 2 goals from dodgey ruck frees in front of goal, apart from that he was bad, even for him. CCJ struggling in the seconds, can't get a game in a side that loses by a ton.

Gold Coast should just be wound up. No sports franchise has made it up there. Unfortunately, as Chol was a free agent, I don’t think we got anything for him. Will do well out of the CCJ trade, though. #lolnorf have not improved at all.

We got compensation pick 45 for Mabs.

We drafted him pick No. 30 in the 2016 Rookie Draft so a long time to wait to get a return on our investment ;)

To night there will only be three undefeated teams. One the reigning premiers, one a team that but for 4 points would have played the last 4 preliminaries. Season is wide open for us.

2018 and 2019. May as well talk about Royce and Lamb. What we do this afternoon occupies my thoughts.

He was useful in 2019 and 2020 when Nank and Soldo were down. Without him we may have missed top 4, so he played enough of a role to get us to a premiership or two.

Is that the pick that ended up as 47, as was given to North in the CJ/Tarrant trade?

Makes me think now, were we that keen to get Tarrant, or really keen to shift CJ?

I think both, but more importantly we didn't want to lose CJ for nothing. Either way, the whole trade is looking like a big win.

Much meeja fawning over Ugle-Hagan laying a couple of tackles, no mention of one-armed marking contests with body safely to the side. Maybe he's a HBFer like Lukosious.

Picked the Pies laughing 3/4 time then Colliewobbles struck. Considered when Sidebottom went off pendulum swung against them.
