Other games Rnd 3

If this is the quality of games on a Fridey night we are in for a long year.
Petracca shouldve came to us.
Where's the Scarlett pimpernel Lever??

Could be a cracking weekend if both the bummers and port go 0 and 3

Better game at Dum Dum Oval. Bots having a red hot go 3rd Q. Port a bit frayed.

I watched the last 20 odd minutes of the Melbourne v Essendon game. That really is not the game I grew up with. Constant flinging the ball around, constant holding of players who don't have the ball, just woeful.

It really is looking more like basketball. The ball gets flung out sideways as far as they can to gain some space. Unless you get it forward off a turnover and at lightning speed the forward line resembles the standing room in the old Western Stand. That, and quick centre clearances before the defence can set up, are the main ways to score

I noticed our first game against Carlton was really fast, but this game, nowhere near it.

I really don't know where the game is going. The constant efforts to get the ball out to a player with a millimetre of space. Very little chance of contested marking. I don't know, it just feels different, the vibe has changed.

This is mostly Hocking’s doing. A lot of what he brought in needs to be wound back as quickly as possible.

Even the AFL’s shill commentators are laughing about the throwing of the ball.

As if one dud “Jones” wasnt enough, they’ve now got 2. And both with daft haircuts as well. Amazing.

Well done Port Bogelaide.

Both games tonight could be called tackle ball, scrum ball, hack ball, chuck ball. But not football. Not really.
