One word. How do you feel after the game?

is someone able provide a short description of the match for us victory fans who didn't go on Sunday? I didn't see not one second of the game, so I don't know how it unfolded... all I know is that we started slow, Dimma made some experimental moves, we had a big second quarter, a couple of our leaders appeared to have stood up late in the game and we held on, and a Collingwood relative of mine said the umpires robbed them. :hihi

but was it a good quality game? did we play well, or was the opposition bad? was it encouraging or was it the same old overuse of the ball crap?

First q we did our usual turn the ball over for no real reason after we had done all the hard work. They scored easy goals as a result. To be fair they missed a couple of gimmes that could have put the game out of our reach or snuffed out any fight we may have produced.

2nd, we came back hard and hit the front.

Both teams then played some decent footy, lead changed several times. I was thinking one team would let go and lose.

But both faught it out till the end. I thought the after the 1st q the game was played too a decent standard.

Our leaders willed us to the win. Especially Cotch, lids and Jack. But others deserve credit too.

The umpires must have givin the pies a harsh ride, as in the closing 20 mins of the game they paid a load of frees to the scum that looked like your typical evenerupers and ignored a few blatant one's that should have gone our way. I was probably at leat a 1/3 under my usual bench mark for umpire despair, so that may be another indicator that we didnt get shafted as much as we usually do.

Wonderful. Been a while since we've beaten the fudgepackers and the wobblers in the same year.
