Noah Balta - Welcome to Tigerland

No doubt we’d be missing Leppa in some ways , however if this 3 time Premiership defence can’t look after themselves , then their probably still using a melways .

agree. If dTLD or grimesy dont know it,

its unknowable.

which is possible.

but im yet to discern a whole new footy fashion

other than April is the new June

Balta is young and still learning so we have to accept he will have a bad game now and again. The great thing about him he does learn by his mistakes so I will give him some slack

Off the top of my head, I think Kingsley may have been shifted there and McQualter now does midfield/stoppages.
Close, Lonergan mids / stoppages, Mini forwards, Kingers backs

Senior coach: Damien Hardwick Re-signed on 18/03/2021 for 3 years till 2024
Assistant coach, backline/defence: Adam Kingsley
Assistant coach, midfield/stoppage:Sam Lonergan
Assistant coach, forwards: Andrew McQualter
VFL & Development coach Mids: Xavier Clarke
Ruck coach: Ivan Maric

Oi!
Take a Melways any day of the week over a farking computerised bit of *smile* that keeps yelling at me to go back around onto the freeway that's totally traffic jammed for the next three hours.

Balta looks like he’s stuck between going flat out and trying to play in a system. Looks confused.

Ball gazing.
Not playing on instincts.
We desperately need to get him back into form.
He’s a vital cog, especially in Vlastuin’s absence

possibly because Broady is playing Vlastuin, Grimes is playing broad, DTLD is playing Balta, and Balta is playing Grimes?

Vlastuin back next week will settle the kid I reckon.

bit of late onset 2nd year blues, bit of confusion.

we certainly need an improvement tomorrow,

but reckon we'll see more the week after.

Its not hard to prosecute a case that Nick Vlastuin is the MVP in our back 8 these days.

its him and/or grimes

I'm happy for him to make mistakes if he is on the attack. I want him to not worry about his man in contests and just go on the attack.

A bit like Rance, he needs to think less and just go. The boy is a physical beast and every team would love to have him running around for the next decade.

More than likely gets Naughton tomorrow night, big test.

Problem at the moment is that it is hard for him to play that way with Vlastuin out. We're a vital player in defence down which has a knock on effect.

I still have my Melway from my time in Melbourne but it doesn't work to well in my home town Stratford upon Avon!

Really good game from Noah last night. Even though he wasn't up against much he read the play and marked the ball really well, and ran off and drove us forward a few times. Will be good for his confidence which may have been down a bit after the last couple of weeks

Was instrumental in our fightback.

He was the first one (other than Lynch) to start winning the one on one aerial contests.

Not sure how many intercept marks he had, but if he didn't have the most, he had the best ones.
