Re: A positive - Vlastuin?

At this point in time, if you gave me a choice of selecting in the AFL draft the option of Vlaustin or Whitfield, I'd take Flossy any day of the week.

Re: A positive - Vlastuin?

Well done, Tigga.

He’s a great kid who is good both with ball in hand and when the other team has it.

The midfield depth is building all the time, which is just as well as two have just gone down for the long-term. This bad luck means that an ongoing position has opened up for him now. He can stay in the team all year from this point and cement his place, as long as his form warrants it.

He certainly looks like he belongs at the highest level.

gee he is just gonna be a star..his first 3 games up there with cotch,s and dusty,s first 3 games

with him and brandon ellis coming on so well we are developing one killer midfeild
Don't forget about Reece either! Great first round picks from compromised drafts :)

Nice to see him get recognition. The club has managed his first year very well IMO.

I like that he wasn't an automatic startup like Ellis was last year (which was a good decision at the time). He would have no doubt done well but the reality is we didn't need him and the message has now been sent throughout the entire group, perform and earn your spot if you want to solidify your position in the side.

This is a good sign that the club is moving forward.

Full credit must go to Hardwick for selecting Vlastuin - love the kid

Vlastuin is like one of those girls when you first look at there is nothing special about her but when she dresses up a bit and lets her hair out she is a stunner. By then she's worked out who all the superficial guys are and then takes her pick. In this case Dimma was the perfect gentleman.

Dimma's always had a soft spot for red heads. :hihi

Hardwick's signature is a bunch of hard nuts. We are building one tough football side.

And to think that there are people around here that question whether he should be there or not. :don't know

The teams that climb the tree too quickly come sliding down again just as quick. Tiger fans should know that all too well.

In Dimma I trust. Warts and all.

Re: A positive - Vlastuin?

Congratulations on the kid with his nomination this round.

He is a beauty. Watched him closely against Port and has the required skills to make and be part of the midfield going forward with Tucks injury.

Well done again!

Funny post, but I actually reckon he's more like the 'ugly duckling' off Neighbours or Home and Away. The ugly duckling is actually a superspunk with daggy glasses, her hair up and conservative clothes. All the viewers can see she's a superspunk, the woman would look good in a spud sack, but the plot calls for all the other characters to take no notice of her and treat her like a plain jane or ugly duckling. Then the plot call for her getting dressed up for a night out, sexy dress, contacts, hair out, voila, suddenly all the characters can see the superspunk, and all the good looking male characters are fighting over her. Then later the spunk actress gets killed off and moves to LA and makes it in the big time. I have no clear idea how any of that relates to Vlastuin.

Are you trying to say the love machine dyed his hair red and took head-inflating supplements for the draft on Dimmas advice, so he'd slide, and soon he will let the red grow out, drop a couple of head sizes and be the new Shane Crawford. OMG thats crafty.

Re: A positive - Vlastuin?

Our first pick of the last 4 drafts have had RS noms in their first season. Not bad at all.
