Nick Vlastuin

Just crazy that we were trying to play him forward earlier in the season. So hard at it and complements the backline perfectly.

Is it just me or did he once again nearly get in the votes today? He has been great in the last 4-5 weeks

Was in my top 3. After Dusty, the next 2 probably could have been picked from a handful of players, we spread the work really well today but Vlastuin is so important in our backline. Rance, Astbury, Grimes and Vlastuin make an outstanding quartet back there.

I've been bleeding for years watching Hurn calmly marshalling the Weagles backline knowing that stooge Miller should've picked him instead of Oakley Nichols.

Finally it seems we have our own version.

In great form since his return. Has come of age.

Hes been great.

He may not be the gun midfielder that I guess many were hoping we would get from a first round draft pick, but he has shown himself to be a bloody reliable backman.

Agree. Hurn was pasted on this very boards as you and I were for pushing him.

Without hesitation I say Vlastuin is in career best form and actually has a strut, a swagger in his walk on the ground and is becoming a arm waving general that is helping Rance keep everyone in order. I'd floated the idea of throwing him on the trade table but he is making that impossible.
