Purdy getting mauled by a good defense today.
Yep that defence is hot today (y)

Looking like another big game loss to Kyle Shanahan man. They keep going on about his offensive brilliance, but you never see it when you need it

I wouldn’t be too concerned about today’s result if I was a niners fan.

Nothing has gone right, the 50/50 breaks have primarily gone the Ravens way.

Happens to every team from time to time regardless of how good they are.

Yep like I wrote on another post about a loss near the end of the season, Tigers in '80 got pumped by the Swans by 9 goals in the last round.

It gave Tony Jewell the ammunition to get them out of "we're to good for everyone" mentality. And we saw what the Tigers did in the' 80 Finals campaign aye :eyes:cupgold

I reckon the Niners are there, to much talk by the players and the fans. Zip it for a few weeks now and become the hunter rather than the huntered.

But did you see Lamar stat versus the NFC  19-1, is that going to be 20-1 after today

Nah. The Niners proved today they are just a good team and not a great team. They are every chance to be punted out of the playoffs straight up much less win a SB.

Purdy was absolutely horrendous. 4 interceptions which should have been 5. Just horrendous. He looked shocking tonight and deserved to be benched. One of the worst QB performances of the year in the NFL. He looked like Zach Wilson tonight.

The highly paid defense could only get token pressure on Jackson. They couldn’t lay a finger on him which meant the Niners biggest weakness - their secondary - got lit up. The Niners are 14th for defending against the pass. That’s not good enough.

Penalties. FMD. 10 for 102 yards ? Are **** serious ?

That’s the second time this year the Niners have been smashed by a team with a good defense, the other v Cleveland.

They’re like a lot of other playoff teams: just ok.

First of all massive kudos to Redford, T-Shirt Tommy and JoMamma for collecting a bonus point in our second set of matches. Respect!

Only 2 weeks left before the winner of the MopsClelland is crowned. We are headed for a nail biting finish, with only TF seemingly out of contention.

MD Jazz (1)(2)(1) 48
Redford (2)(3+1)(1) 46
Mopsy (1)(2)(2) 46
Ridley (1)(2)(0) 45
marella jube (1)(2)(0) 44
T-Shirt Tommy (2)(3+1)(1) 42
JoMamma (1)(3+1)(0) 42
RoarEmotion (0)(2)(0) 42
mainlandy (1)(2)(2) 41
TigerForce (1)(1)(1) 36

Only 3 games to tip on next week. Then we finish with our epic Week 18 five sets of matches.
There are no more MNF games from here on in, so we will tip on the NYE game plus 2 x Monday games in week 17.

Tips will need to be submitted by Sunday 12:15pm.

Everyone will be tagged once more.

Agree with red, there are no standout sides. That was a pretty ave all round showing by the 9ers.
The SB could be won by almost any team that makes the playoffs. .

Which is great I reckon. Get it all right at the right time of the year and you deserve the title.

Any given Sunday as they say.

Miami are interesting. Not sure I trust them or Tua, but if you look at the numbers, they easily have the best combo of offence (1st) and defence (4th) in the NFL.

If they could get number 1 seeding in the AFC, they could make the SB.

Well hold your horses man ;)

This week coming, we've got the Dolphins visiting the Ravens. Either Ravens lock in top spot with a win or the Dolphins put themselves in the frame.

Then they both have interesting last games as well, the Ravens have a rivalry game at home against the Steelers while the Dolphins host the Buffalo Bills.

Still lots to play for. Only the Ravens and Dolphins in the AFC have guaranteed themselves a playoff game to date, so the Steelers and the Bills can't afford loses, both need to finish 2-0 to get into the playoffs :eyes

Yep, everything to play for man.

In the AFC, Ravens and Dolphins only teams to have booked playoff spots, 5 places still available for everyone else. At least 8 teams can fill them 5 spots - KC, Jags, Browns, Bills, Colts, Texans, Steelers and Bengals.

In the NFC, 4 spots decided, 3 spots available for 5 teams - Tampa, Rams, Seahawks, Vikings and Falcons decide who gets in.

49ers, Eagles, Lions and Dem 'Boys are in 🤠

Well here we are at the penultimate week in the hunt for the MopsClelland Trophy. Over the course of the season we have seen many ebb's and flows on our leaderboard, but now is the time to get hot and claim the title.

There are still 6 bonus points up for grabs in the last 2 weeks so it's still a wide open race. No-one is without a chance so let's get into this weeks games.

Detroit Lions (+5.5) @ Dallas Cowboys (-5.5) 12:15pm Sunday December 31st
Cincinnati Bengals (+7.5) @ Kansas City Chiefs (-7.5) 8:25am Monday January 1st
Green Bay Packers (+1.5) @ Minnesota Vikings (-1.5) 12:20pm Monday January 1st

All tips to be submitted by 12:15pm Sunday
Good luck to all.
