Impressive performance by Aussie Jarryd Hayne as a RB in the 49ers pre-season game. Hope he makes the list.

Well done to Jarryd Hayne who is now officially a San Francisco 49ers player....albeit in the special team list as KR (kick receiver or punt returner). It would've been great to see him as a WR or RB in the offence team, but he's got a foot in the door in what's really the hardest sport for a foreigner to join. How's a 3 year $AUD2.3 million contract compared to any in the NRL?

I'll be looking forward to see the #52 in some 49ers games this season.

Go Steelers!!

NRL players generally don't get as much as in the AFL, but Hayne was in the top 5 elite franchise-type players who nudge a million. So his NFL contract, incredibly, isn't that much more, but he'll get a heap more from endorsements and merch residuals, and probably bonuses if he performs. His jersey is currently the top seller! Amazing effort.

Yep. Already the cult favourite at San Fran. Hope he does well, and it'll be more interesting to watch an Aussie player that's NOT a punter this time.

Good start by the Steelers against these...hmmm.....cheating(?) Patriots. First, it was the Deflategate saga with Tom Brady rambling on during the off-season, and now the Steelers' coaches are hearing a local radio broadcast transmitting through their headsets as interruption.

From what the commentators said about other clubs complaining, there must be a lot of conspiracies happening at this New England club.

Anyway, it's great to see another Aussie Jordan Berry as our new punter.

Bit of a boring game at Minnesota, but Jarryd Hayne's doing well besides the 1 fumble.

4 carries from 13 yards in rushing and 1 catch (mark ;D) for 7 yards in receiving. Bit short but good start for him.

49ers leading 17-3 and should win.

Good win for my new team .Go 49ers.

Aussie Brad Wing (NY Giants) finally kicks to Aussie Jarryd Hayne. Poor Hayne looks bored just taking the punt returns, even considering the 49ers are a sh!t team after sacking Harbaugh. Give the boy some run in offence FFS.

That's more like it. 2 passes to Hayne, rushed 9 yards and now they get a touchdown. Sparked up the team.

Heh..heh....they go to an ad with an old INXS song...

So the 49ers got rid of Harbaugh for what reason?

Missing the finals for the first time under his reign and maybe other reasons we don't know. Maybe replacing QB - Alex Smith with Kaepernick?

Both passionate clubs with huge supporter bases.
Go Steelers!
Bell you champ!

Was looking at the Steelers merch and it's almost the same as ours lol except for the logos.
