No way Forcey!C'mon Riddles. You're only 3 points in front of me and we're not even halfway through the season yet. I'll do a GWS and charge in while you do a Bummers and drop out.

Don’t worry about it Moops. Nobody was thinking that. Rather, just the possible inequities that anyone could apply at any timeBeen stewing on this, and probably over thinking it.
For the record I was only changing my tip to un-jinx my bets in tomorrow’s game. Stupid thought process I know. Not to gain any form of advantage in our comp.
I started the MopsClelland to have some fun. I don’t care whether I win or lose, it’s just great to give us all something to yak about during games.
As a life long golfer the last thing you ever want to be accused of is cheating. It’s a cardinal sin.
I am guilty of changing my tip a couple of weeks ago. Then it was for no other reason than fun and banter. But it seems the only fair thing to do to maintain the little credibility the MopsClelland has is to deduct 2 points from my score in the interests of fairness.
Sorry if any of you were feeling like I was running this comp in an unfair way. That was definitely not my intention.

eg let’s say TigerForce has a 1 point lead over you in the final round. You both select different teams for each of the 3 games. You split the first 2. But then TigerForce changes his tip in the last game to be the same as you, so that way you can’t catch him.
Or, a more likely scenario, I get 6 points up on Chimpley Magoo and his grandson Waldo, and I decide that’s more important than winning, and I just change a tip on the third game to keep him at bay. Not that I’d really need to because he is so hopeless, but you get my drift. Heh heh heh….
Don’t worry about retrospective changes. Just lock em in from here on out.
Just finished watching the Drongos v Chiefs game. Wow. Took a while but the Taylor Swift curse has finally arrived.
Chiefs fans shouldn’t worry though. She changes boyfriends more than Chimpley Magoo upgrades his hearing aids. In fact, now the NBA is up and running I expect her to latch on to a high profile basketballer that can keep her in the public eye even better. Courtside baby !
Hopefully she stays away from the Celtics players. Jayson Tatum looks a target to me.
Not really a comparison Moops because you’re forgetting that in this situation, 2 results are already in ie you can then arbitrage off the results.Yeah I get all that. Is there any real difference though to waiting for someone to submit their tips then tip differently on any number of games hoping for a favourable outcome? Not really.
The only completely fair way, in a forum like this, is to have everyone tip at exactly the same time. Which as we all know is impossible.
Anyway as I said I’m doing it for fun, nothing else. What will be will be.
Bring on Dan the man and his champion Lions tomorrow. Regardless of tips my support will always be where my money lies !
And you benched Pickett (injured) for Trubisky. Who then threw a pick that ended any chance you had. Oh dear. It's a crazy comp Riddles. Everytime we pick up some form we eff it up at home games.

Haven't bothered to watch the replay. Pickett's been good but nowhere near the Big Ben level. We're really weak in finding really good QBs. Forgot to ask Riddles if Trevor Lawrence has beefed up in the gym or on steroids.....geez he looks big now.And you benched Pickett (injured) for Trubisky. Don’t think you’re quite getting what I’m saying. It’s not about going further ahead or falling further behind. It’s about protection from something.Yep, and as a consequence of changing your tip you may end up further behind too.
Point I was trying to make Is that it’s not perfect tipping on an open platform like PRE, where those who tip later can see what others have already done. Say you are behind Ridley by 1 going into the final round. You submit your tips, he copies yours to protect his lead. Job done. Or you need to make up ground on the leader so you tip differently to them looking to make up lost ground. Unless everyone tipped at exactly the same time, or somehow anonymously, we are open to advantages being taken, big or small, in some way shape or form.
Impossible to protect against. But it’s what we have.
No need to change your score Mops. You declared the change at the time so no issue for me. Overall I just think, going forward, it would be better if the initial selections were locked in.Been stewing on this, and probably over thinking it.

What a bonehead Goff is. Raiders are hopeless on offence and he gifts them 6. Lions should be killing them.Geez...there really are some dumb QBs in the league nowadays.....
Lions just as bad with turnovers. What a bonehead Goff is. Raiders are hopeless on offence and he gifts them 6. Lions should be killing them.
