NFL & NCAA Football Threads

Ultimately Eagels D were better than Miami D. And Miami missing too many O-line starters. And the officials treated Miami as poorly as the Tigers are treated in the AFL. 12 penalties to nil at one stage.

I think if they are healthy Miami give the Eagles and other best sides a tougher challenge.

When do the NFL release final teams for the games? It makes a huge difference to results. If Deebo and McCaffarey are both out (understand DS is def out) I'm switching to the Vikings.

A lot of actives/inactives are game time decisions. Makes it tough.

CMC in that category tomorrow.

I have to decide whether to cash out a multi or let it ride on the Niners. I’m not one to cash out early but this one makes me nervous. Jefferson not playing for the Vikes makes it an easier decision though.

Much better performance this week by the Iggles.

Still not at 2022 levels, but the best of the current year so far I guess.

Liked the Kelly Green look, reminded me of the Randall Cunningham years when I first started following them.

And loving the hate from the commentators about the Brotherly Shove. They can all GAGF. Other teams have tried it and sucked.

Just waiting for that *smile* Steve Hocking to come into the NFL and ban it.

4 months ago on this date my world changed forever.

I've been given approval to go 🏡 tomorrow, Tuesday 😉😀

What I've learnt the last 4 months is there is no other country, or hospital in the world I would want to be in for the injuries I received with than being in Epworth Hospital, Richmond ❤️😘😘

From the doctors, nurses, cleaning staff, kitchen staff at this hospital, I will never forget how they made me feel alive again. They took me gardening, 7-Eleven a couple of times, took me outside in the sun a few times for a chat and enjoy the sun, played Uno a few times with my Occ Therapist and meeting Koby the Therapy Dog and wanting a dog again

I was never a whinger about paying car insurance, Health insurance, Workcover, medical costs, Medicare, etc.

And they've all come through me, this country has a lot of positive things about it, unfortunately the wingers against Australia don't understand

It has made my hospital stay easier to deal with - car insurance was paid, getting paid for being away from work by Workcover, all my tablets have been paid for by Medicare, until now...
Gunna cost a bit when I get home :(:ROFLMAO:

All I know is seeing the old people in the rehab gym, I can't imagine at 65-75 years old learning how to walk again, I'd need double the time it to me to do it in that age group. Lucky they have one of the best systems in the world to take care of their medical expenses in here and get paid for their time away from work.

I can't thank U all enough for supporting me 🙏

Exactly 4 months today is a nice way to finish this chapter in my life.

And start a new chapter tomorrow - Tuesday - on my recovery from 🏡

Thank U all,

😘😘😘😘

Great post Jerry. Yes, there’s many things to be grateful for in life and in Australia.

As a patient of Epworth several times I can confirm that assessment. Amazing facilities and people.

Get a Border Collie. Geez they’ll keep you on your toes. Smart, funny. They all go for the Niners too.

How long have I been saying that the Niner secondary is NO GOOD ?

272 passing yards against already and it’s 8.40 still to go in the 3rd.

Game over. SF punters had no chance to win the line bet even if they scored a TD. At least I'm off the bottom.

Jeez take CMac out of that lineup and they are a pretty average unit.

Well that crapfest from the Niners just cost four punters a bonus point. Bad for them, not so for the rest.

A pretty tight leader board developing as we get close to the half way point of the season.

Mum's Greek Gemista - U can make them with tomatoes clean out the inside and add rice and mince meat stuffing (y)

Also green peppers which are my favourite and tastier than the tomato one's, we had for dinner :giggle:❤️😋

Niners reading and believing there own hype way to much after beating the Cowboys :(

Too much noise from players and fans boasting a bit too much after beating a team who never steps up in the big games :censored:

They need to turn it down a bit until we actually win a big game again, like a SB :censored:
