News Flash --- Richmond coach named for 2005

I heard a rumour that RFC is going to appoint another yank in a position of importance next season. The guy who hosts Blues Clues is going to be Frawleys interpreter!
 
By having Humphrey on board, does that also mean we might get interstate games televised - instead of Collingwood home games being shown against the gate? Surely, the Big H has some pull at Channel 9!
 
No he didnt kill himself. It was a cruel rumour that nearly destroyed me.

I don't like our chances.
I don't know the full story but apparently Humphrey and Eddie McGuire have had a big falling out.
Evidently when channel 9 won the rights to telecast the a.f.l. Humphrey and Eddie both auditioned for the job as commentators.
Apparently Humphrey won hands down. He was much more articulate, and apparently his elocution was way better than Eddie's
The story goes that when Eddie found out that Humphrey had the gig he went sooking to his mate James Pecker.
James naturally sided with his mate Eddie.
Naturally Humphrey was speechless, when he found out that he had been white anted. Poor old Humphrey was irate, the only way to placate him was to find a coaching job for him. It seems that Humphrey had a quite a distinguished career as a coach. Coaching the the kids from the creche at channel 9 to back to back premierships in the 2000 and 2001 seasons day care comp.
I note sure of the happenings, perhaps someone else knows, but it looks like old Humphrey has the job at Tigerland.

Hey tigerman, am I to understand from yr reply #29 that I am not to take any notice of what you said in yr reply previous to that? Geez, were you joking? And I just climbed under the house and rescued all me black and yellow streamers from where I tossed them in 1982! You certainly know how to hurt a bloke....
