New clash jumper - reversed strip

what are the odds that if the AFL force us to wear the yellow jumper, should we get there of course, that they will then put the umpires in the fluoro yellow outfit?

You can bet they will because no one checks that type of clash based on many examples we've seen this year.

Apologies if this has already been pointed out but in recent history Richmond did wear their traditional black jumper with white shorts when we played at the Adelaide Oval in 2011, 2012, and 2014. I don't remember any outcry from the fans not being able to pick out which team had the ball!
If you watch a few min of this game from Rd 21 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wj_gUpufe6w , you can see the tiger players very clearly bc the white shorts really stand out. Our new bright yellow sash would make our jumpers stand out even more as the "lighter" coloured uniforms so there would be no clash...if we get there!

Not quite what I meant Ian. I mean over all, not just for a GF. Rules on who clashes with who and which teams require you to actually wear a clash strip versus simply wearing white shorts. Or whether a team really needs to wear white shorts at all (like for example, the Swans are treated specially on this subject). It seems to be a moving feast made up as the AFL goes along. For example, when clash strips first came in, we only needed to wear it against Essendon. Each year there seems to be a new clash invented.

yeah spot on. even when it comes to wearing white shorts they tend to pick and choose. teams such as Geelong and Norf are forced to wear white shorts at home which is downright wrong

How about the Crows do what WC do and lighten up the navy blue at times? Change it to royal blue and won't clash with any black jumpers.
