Neil Balme - Bring him back

Balme roll at the club was how can I put it ‘topping up his pension’. He was no longer involved in football operations after the restructure of rolls with Livingstone. Whilst you never like to lose good people I doubt he had much influence of late.

That might have been the case this year as he was hardly sighted. During our dominating years Balme was always a show. I hope the club havent purposely pushed him aside.

I assume he has signed with crows for the 2023 season as he won't be able to get there by the start of the 2022 season.

The loss of Caracella has been huge I reckon. Yes we won the flag without him but there was minimal change to the way we played last year. This season the stand rule seems to have befuddled our coaching group, meanwhile Essendon are playing the best footy they have in many years and the stand rule doesn't appear to be an issue for them.

I have absolute faith in Dimmas man management ability, not so much in his tactical nouse.
