National Draft Order 2024

This draft looks a lot less compromised with Battle compensation no longer fouling the top 10.

Richmond actual draft selections look like being 2, 25, 33, 43, 45, 51, 61, 70, 77, based on Twomey's August predictions.

This will change as players move up and down the boards but for now this is it.

NB blue shaded selections are those we are linked to in trade speculation.

OK, if GC #6 becomes #7, it's safe for us to take off GC for Rioli as we'll avoid the Curse of Pick 6

We solved that curse with Conca. Another Conca will be a terrific outcome.

Here's the whole draft in cells. Champion, a couple of Camporeales, Welsh come to mind as more FS/Academy picks in the frame.

Lombard is a bit of a volatile stock because we're not sure how much improvement he's got in him and how much he could improve right now with some rest and some better coaching. Just sayen. I don't know.

Battle was always staying at StKilda if they couldn't get a first rounder. They were never copping #29 for him. And that makes the draft order much more attractive for RFC fans.

This, I'll have you know, eZ, is my finest thread since "Liam Henry farts in Ross Lyon's face, much to the coach's mirth".

Here's what it looks like if StShitshow get a priority pick for that leper Battle-

Some casual observations.
1. No way Draper gets past Adelaide.
2. I’ll fair dinkum spew up if we pick Moraes over Sims

Not that it matters but are Tigers going to pick Ashcroft making Brisbane bid? Or how else does he go number 1?

I’m pretty ignorant after the ones that get mentioned a lot. Who is Moraes and what type of player is he?
He is probably the best gut runner in the draft and always racks up possessions in the midfield or on the wing. He can play forward and kick goals as well. His kicking is probably worse than Taranto though.

That’s a big black mark. We’ve got more than enough poor kicks.
