Nitro.
After Fraser, anywhere is cold.

Re: mELBOURNE WEATHER

Just be thankful you didn't come down a week earlier nitro.  You would have been headed back up north for a cool change.

Bring on winter. 8)

Re: mELBOURNE WEATHER

Take heart Rosy, the longest day has come and gone, days are getting shorter ;D.
Bring on winter!

As I always say to northerners - "welcome to Melbourne".

In your case, "Welcome BACK to Melbourne".

Re: mELBOURNE WEATHER

Cold air's better because it's easier to warm up in the cold than to cool down in the heat.

Plus, you lose more flab. ;D

Re: mELBOURNE WEATHER

I hate summer days but love summer nights. Sun has too much sting in it these days. Bit stupid considering I build pergolas and deckings...

I hate heatwaves.

Re: mELBOURNE WEATHER

I'm glad I gave up the tools and work nights now

I used to hate working upstairs in 40C+ installing baths

With everyone else huddled around the aircon downstairs

Especially when you don't get offered a drink

Everyone.... Always offer a tradey a drink even if they are only there for 5 mins

Actually any worker needs to be offered a drink, you'll get much better service

Should've charged them more.

Re: mELBOURNE WEATHER

Once upon a time, I used to drive a removalist van.
Now we used to get offered Drinks all the time, mostly Alcohol and Drivers need to be 0.00 Blood Alcohol,
I always wondered why you would want a bloke in charge of all your worldly poscessions to be Half Cut as he Drives away.

Insurance?
