He is another I would like to see debut - the Saints would be a good game to do so - he wouldn’t do any worse than Martyn did last night.
Could be a sub optionI think the knock on rioli was his conditioning and fitness so if he doesn't play seniors for a while (first half of the year) then that is probably one reason.
I am tipping he debuts in the next few weeks.
It's all about the GPS. When he tackles or bumps, it's the opponent's body that doesn't cope with it.Just give him this year in VFL. Far too early for AFL - needs a body to cope with it first.

Agree. He's just a kid straight from the NTFL; didn't even get to play school or TAC Cup in '20. It's great that he looks promising but throwing him in too early could be a bad move for his development.Just give him this year in VFL. Far too early for AFL - needs a body to cope with it first.
Just Jack Silvagni someone like the Blues have done a few times 2/3 the way through the match and just give him one quarter to go at it.Could be a sub option
Watching Liam Ryan and NicNat run around with what can only be described as sub-optimal physiques,
Ain't the shape of the physique you worry about, it's the capacity to play the game at the required level. Could simply be that Maurice is still learning the basic structures of the game we play, or building enough motor to compete for enough game time. Won't be in the slightest surprised to see the young fella get some senior game time this season.Watching Liam Ryan and NicNat run around with what can only be described as sub-optimal physiques, I see no reason not to give Rioli Jr a game if the form is there.
This is what I tell the ripped ladies down at the walking trackis there any such thing as an optimal physique?
