Matthew Parker

What number do ya reckon he takes? No 34 is gone at Tigerland.
Numbers left on the table atm:
13
18
24
28
30
37
48

I think he looks like a No 13 but he may go the 24 or 37 I think. Can’t see the club giving him 18 or 30 yet. Then he may go 48 to have a locker close to Fish.

Hmm, no idea about him but highlight reel looks fine. Seems to be able to run, jump for a mark and kick goals.

A few have talked about a winger, well, he is 1cm taller than Caddy, looks quicker, has some experience so you would hope he can read the game well, and a bit of mongrel. Caddy upgrade??

Looks like he can fit in a few positions which is useful.

Given he is known to a few at the club I would think they would have had a very good idea what he is like. Let's go and hope he does well.

midfield grunt
Could be a good tagger/run-with player.

Over recent years, we haven't been the best at shutting down a star oppo mid that's got off the leash.

I want someone who can put real heat on the likes of Petracca or Oliver in finals.

With Pickett and Parker being great mates, it looks like we're putting the band back together - The Bruise Brothers.

I didn't see this one coming - am a bit surprised. Not sure what role we'd take him for, but will find that out soon. If he has the endurance for a wing opposite K-Mac that'd be awesome, as it's the one spot I just chalk up a loss to each week.
Some more pace in the midfield would be outstanding. Forward line? Maybe, given how out of form ours seem to be.

Go well Peter. I hope you catch a few in your Web.

Give me one Parker over three nathan freemen anyday
100% Agree eZyT

25 year old with good size and elite speed that likes to tackle kick goals and hurt the opposition on the scoreboard as well as on the field
Marlion and matty were team mates at South freo and Marlion his mentor. He will want to do well at Richmond and will know its his last go at this level

Was extremely unlucky in 2020 as he had injuries and struggled at the hub and with some of the saints players during the last year of a contract when list sizes get cut and we all know how stkilda's list management been like

Love to see him play on the wing or even replace Houli off HB once Bachar hangs up the boots

Lat player on the list on a 6 month contract - Nothing to lose

Like to have a goal kicking wingman on the opposite wing to Kmac, reckon we might use him as high forward , definitely ads something different to our forward line
If we have Kmac, Marlion and Parker as out rotating wingman, I got a feeling Cads needs to find a new home.

Good point EfE , I’m a play Caddy forward man myself , be a fair chance Cadds will be at club 4 next year
I prefer Cads forward aswell, but I'd much rather see Jack, Tom and CCJ as our three headed monster, Dusty going through there less often, swapping around with Shai for stints in the middle. We have become good at getting out of the centre, contrary to 17-19, let's use the marking power, not just fleet footed smalls.

Geez the 90's and 00 could have been so much more bearable

if the tigers had understood the rule of flawed footballers;

take them tough, tall and quick.
