These practice games are weird to watch. At times we look scintillating but then appear to back off the intensity and look to just be cruising. The Giants seem to have more intent when the ball hits the ground and that’s what allowed them to get on top late in that quarter. We also look to be working on our Harlem Globetrotter routine in the forward line.

Really not sure what to take out of these games win lose or draw. Bring on round one.

Thoughts- DMartin is going to terrorise the comp in 2020. Looks so far and away the best player in Australia it's not funny. CCJ looks very very close to debut. Rioli excellent. Pickett faded and didn't do much. Cotch looks fit. Houli has lost half a yard. Baker set for big year. Stack will find his groove soon enough. Cameron still dirty dog.
Generally side looks ultra confident.
