We have the second highest percentage behind Port (who is way ahead).
Given our bye it’s pretty irrelevant apart from the pies percent but who would have thought.

I’ll concede WC and Geelong but take Adelaide and Freo. That leaves the games against Essendon and GC as make or break. Win them both and we end on 10&1/2 wins, and probably a 5th/6th finish. With finals in a hub, I don’t think the top 4 finish is as important this year.
We need to win 5 of our last 6 to get a top 4 finish. Doable but need a mighty effort.
Rather try and finish top 4.
Draw against the Pies
Loss against GWS May ultimately come back to be the difference.
The AFL will buckle
Also need cards to fall our way with St Kilda, WC , Cats & Pies loosing one more than us
Those two points we got against the Pies will either work for us or against us.
I don’t see us making top 4 and I am prepared to visit this IF I’m wrong.
I see somewhere between 5-9 . GC will not be a gimme game. I’ve watched them play a lot of games. Lose that and I can see us even not making finals.
Prepared to cop heat once I’m wrong as I have stated above.
This year I think the injuries will/may ultimately be our undoing. They not all be back fit /match fit ready to help us make the top 4.
My son wants me to put some $ on this as he did last year. He made some handy $ from me last year as he is wanting the same odds.
Will reinforcements help us in time.

I expect a lot of it will come down to luck with the finals draw. You may potentially need to play Port and WCE both at home to make the GF (assuming it will be in Qld). To pull off one is possible, but to pull off both will be herculean.
Nevertheless, the interstate clubs have had to do this for years, so what better way to shut them up than to win another premiership this year.
Personally, think a premiership is out of our reach this year. Happy to be proven wrong.
