Lynch !!

How good that he came to the RFC and the RFC and his new team mates held up their end of the bargain for him.

Tommy has certainly held up his end of the bargain.

The bugger carried the club for the opening 11- 12 weeks on 1 and 1/2 legs and no pre season.

Herculean effort.

GUN

Man we are so lucky he chose the RFC not Scumwood.

Premiership player now.

Collingwood tried their hardest to pinch him off us. But he didn’t want to be another Treloar and miss a premiership.

Good choice.

Wonder how young Trelol is going now with that better list

Cant wait to see how he goes fully fit, and feeling fully comfortable in his place.

Jackmond is going to make Tommy an even better player before he retires, that's the best part.

We jumped on his back this year and rode him to a Premiership. He’s nearly the sole reason we were able to have a shot at the flag.

Phenomenal workload to shoulder coming off no preseason to kick 60+ goals.

Only banked $500k this year of his $7m contract and it doesn’t matter what he does for the last 6 years of his deal, he’s already paid for himself. That’s the best part.

Can he go into minus?
He is very close to the most over rated player in the comp, considering the money he is on.
Would you give him 800k. I wouldn’t.

How good is that he chose the Mighty Tigers to play with.

He was a Copyingwood supporter as a kid, but learnt the errors of his ways to choose the best the AFL club in Australia to play for.

I reckon it doesn't matter what they do for, or give to the Gold Coast. ... any kid who's had the dream that Tom has will never stay up there!

No amount of money will ever replicate 130 + years of history and passion. Unless you've lived that your entire life, silverspoons like McLachlan just don't get it!

The worst thing is that we as supporters of the game have missed out on so many years of a bloke who probably by now would be a superstar of the competition!

Yeah I've said this before about the AFL's manipulation of the draft. So many kids get drafted to clubs that can't develop them and never achieve their potential. Its almost a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Yeah i think his best is yet to come
Many good players get to their peak of physical powers in the 27-28 year age bracket, which he is approaching. It is exciting to think that he will likely keep getting better, particularly with a full pre-season.
No one could have predicted that the RFC would have only 2 players that would play every game for the season and that he would be one of those two. It was a brilliant effort by him imo to play every game, without having done any pre-season and to really make a difference to the team.

Yes, a lot of credit needs to go the fitness and rehab staff for getting Lynch and Prestia through the season with out missing a game :clap2

The fact Lynch played every game after a big injury and very limited pre-season and light training for half the year shows the champion that he is. So tall, so strong, doesn't step back, great kick. What can you say except he was a brilliant pick up.

Thankfully we delivered too and he is a premiership player in his first season at Richmond, must be pinching himself after 8 years at GCS.

He deserves this prize, not just for the talent he has but also for the fact he did give a lot of years to GCS. Shows character and Richmond need to keep getting players of character as it is a big part of our current success.

Had a beer at the Sorrento Hotel with Tom and his new best mate JR8. Confirmed he came to Tigers because he wanted to learn from Jack. And that he didn’t want the number 1 defender. Got a few laughs!

Not entirely a selfless act on his part!

But, Tom admits he defers to Jack and now Tom is a premiership champion!

Don't Argue, shout them both another beer!
