For a fair comp every team should play each other once with a few byes thrown in to make it 22 rounds and there should be a top 10 with an extended final series

Stkilda has beaten the bottom 4 quality sides Freo GC Essendon and Footscary.
Essendon aren't much better.
And for all the back slapping Collingwood have beaten us and Geelong and the shiitest club in the country in Port.

Carlton will get a free arms ride with the umpire's. That's 3 games I've seen this year when they have influenced the result. Against us the captain was doing double hand throws all night wasn't called once, we all saw that gutless knob pay a free kick against GWS and then on Friday, Curnow might break Locketts record. He gets free kicks no other forward gets.
Brisbane are unbelievably good at home but bottom 4 side away from home.
Don't get excited about Ports win, they have beaten Sydney 7 times in a row.
Freo is a disgrace.

The big story should be Freo. They have yet to play a team that made finals last year (they have played Saints, North, West Coast and Adelaide) and have 1 win from 4 games. They play Gold Coast this week. Lose that 1 and you can probably start to bank on Freo not making finals. We have lost twice (both to teams that played finals last year) yet we are the big story.
If you gauge Freos 1st 6 weeks, they have the easiest first 6 weeks of anyone in the AFL (and by some way). They way I calculate it, (last years ladder position of the team for an away game, and double that for a home game), wo the lower the score the better. Freo's first 4 rounds add up to 94 (the next easiest is the Bombers at 79!). For the first 6 rounds the score adds to 134, the next lowest is Hawthorn. If they fail to win the next 3 and at least level the ledger, they could be in for a world of hurt this year.
Zips this flag is Melbourne's to LOSE. But they did it last year whose to say they wont again.
