lol carlton

I hate Carlton I really hate Carlton, they and their supporters laughed at us through the 80's and the 90's and the Elimination Final loss to them after they were put into the finals from 9th just topped it off.

I was ridiculed by Carlton fans mercilessly.

Its been a nice few years watching them wallow in failure, may it continue for some time yet.

I hate only Collingwood more than these Bastards.

Essendon and Melbourne are not far behind, Maggots and Blues regards to my hate.

Under Chris Scott Geelong has certainly climbed my hate ladder.

My brother, a Carlton supporter, gave me a book for Christmas in 2010. ‘Richmond achievements over the past 25 years.’ Yep, 124 blank pages.

I’ve enjoyed the last few years a lot - and of course feel superior because I have not retaliated. Long may the debacle continue

Article on the Carlton process, no mention of any other candidates. It also sounds suspiciously player driven. And another thing, on the selection panel was Board member and recruitment executive David Campbell. Is that the same guy who who was our CEO ever so briefly? If so how on earth is he still around the industry:

Our CEO before Wrighty was Ian Campbell

Dow and O'Brien haven't come on this year. Reckon it might be second-year blues, but there's a chance they're not that good. SPS has good skills but hasn't learned to hurt the opposition with them yet.
They're not that good. Dow's skills are deplorable, and O'Brien was a reach who is frightened of his own shadow. A top-10 pick- yuck. SPS is a poor man's Stack but could develop into a good player.

They might get Cogs, they have salary cap room to spend up.

I'm with tigerman, nothing against Teague but I hope he fails miserably. 25 years of Carlton failure is nowhere near enough.

I reckon there’s something weird going on with Teague’s hair. Troubles me. Makes me uneasy.
Yep I’ve been trying to come to grips with it myself. The hair making up his fringe looks so weak that the slightest gust of wind could just blow it off. It looks like it should have fallen off a long time ago but yet is somehow still hanging in there.

I put $1 on Teague to get the job and it paid out $9 today so I’m happy. I hope he has sustained failure though as that means the Blues are losing. His hair doesn’t frighten me but that smile does - it’s creepy.

A mistake for sure to not interview others and get alternate view.

Warm and fuzzies was how the three clubs are picking. And in Teagues case there is ex-player sentiment as well.

All coaches have one new game plan. Hence the uptick when they take over. Then that plan gets worked on by other coaches.

What does Shaw do then? No-one asked.

That was Ian Campbell. Lasted only a short time in the job. No good.

I heard Caro the previous week mention DH and how the Blues enquired about his services.

Teague's smile, Tapman?

How quickly kids these days forget...

And this is Collingwood but I’m not looking for a dedicated thread

For some reason Collingwood player Siers used basketball as a calf strain rehab strategy.
He was hanging with his mates and got talked into it. Boys will be ......

so the media have made sure it’s over blown out of proportion as usual.

Maybe a discipline issue with the youngsters at vic park. Multi-bets, medications, basketball

They've had a *smile* head element down there for a long time.

Tried to cut out the cancer, by moving on Wellingham, Shaw and Beams then Williams.

Somehow Beams has returned (McChins?)

Swan, Shaw, Beams, Wellingham, Marley Williams, De Goey, TABephenson ,now this bloke.

KULCHA .... not even the CONSCIENCE himself ..... HARRY LAMBDA LAMBDA LAMBDA could straighten them out.
