Thats why i was surprised he was invited back.
He back doored the club and alot of the 'old' timers haven't forgiven him.

Obviously whatever the ex president said on radio was defamatory as it's not been quoted elsewhere and 7news last night replayed the 3aw apology and nothing else.
I suppose we can only assume the old bloke dished out a little bit of retribution. .... SOS should do the right thing and take action so we can get a few more laughs for a while longer!

One of our discussions i said to him he will need to become a richmond supporter soon with daniel & Mia possibly having kids etc
What he said actually surprised me , He went on to say how Chris Newman was his best mate growing up and the he actually signed for Richmond the year Pagan was appointed as coach and went to carlton to tell them he was gone and playing for Richmond the next year.
What he then told me was that he was told he was not going anywhere and that his Salary doubled the next year and Richmond couldnt get anywhere near the $$$ and he stayed. Also said that there were other gifts that he recieved through 'Unknown' parties to stay

I rember Jack Elliott sneeringly commented that Silvagni's contract negotions were always hard work.
Not sure whether the bloos were trying to undercut sos or sos wkept bumping his price up threatening to walk to another club. Obviously a bad look to see him play elsewhere, so the bloos always had to pony up.
Delusional as ever, the AFL website reports that the inclusion of Betts tips the scales in their favour in Rd 1. Lol Carlton.
They obviously fail to realise he'll be matched up by Grimes or Stackman and will struggle to get a kick.

he apparently has a 16-3 record against us.
The only thing i see is us kicking 16 goals to 3.
Grimes will slap him into retirement.
