We play Esserdunn in rivalry round this year.

Get Razor in the video room to watch the Turner hit on O'Donnel on loop for a few hours before the game.
Come to think of it, get the whole team watching it on loop from now until the season proper! ;D

Yeah, I did, but not at the expense of Campbell, which I'm lead to believe is what it came down to, so perhaps I didn't want him either in a round about way.

Had a chat with Zanners when he was up here in Qld, during finals time. If he ever matures, that's when he'll be OK, but that might make him eligible for Superules :hihi

He's missed opportunity, mostly for himself. I still got the feeling from what he was saying that he might just have worked out it's time to knuckle down. Whether anyone will give him another chance only time will tell.

I would, but then i'm a bit of a romantic for the underdog

Never thought much of Zantuck as a player or as a person. Was extremely happy to see him go. If anyone could pull him in line it would be Sheedy, but sometimes a case is a lost case no matter what you throw at it.

I don't know him personally, but I did meet him once when I took my son to development clinic at Punt Rd and he was in my son's group (along with Brad Ottens). At the time we spoke a few words and he came across as a very nice person. He was really fantastic with the kids, (as was Ottens although he didn't talk to anyone of the parents).

He was ok as a player, but I really believe he was extremely frustrated under Frawley and Co. That may have contributed to his outbursts on the field in that final year. I'm not condoning it just an observation.

As for Loyd and is speech it just shows what an ignorant individual he is and that such words can actually come back and bite you on the B U M. Good luck Essendon having such an air head for a Captain.

A friend of mine has been an Essendon supporter as long as I can remember, but with Lloyd being captain, he's very dissapointed in the choice and would have picked at least half a dozen others before him. He has told me that whilst Lloyd is captain, he's not going to any more games! So not every bomber fan has love for Lloyd. Can't stand the Harry High Pants myself.

When Richmond & Ty Zantuck parted company at the end of season 2004, I was very interested to see what effect that might have on some players. One observation suggested, Chris Newman took his footy to another level. (Perhaps Newman missed Zantuck's "pep" talks before this years games)

Imagine what impact Zantuck would have on Deledio, Tambling, Meyer, Polo, Raines, Jackson, Roach, Foley, Thursfield ?

Chris is 'best' mates with Side Show Bob (Fev), and that hasn't stopped Chris playing some really good football this year.
