went to the count tonight thanks to peter lehmann wines. sampled a bit of their product so can't be held responsible for nything typed from now...
you guys have seen it all thanks to the clubs live feed but some things i picked up on: dimma loves jake king, think he wants to marry him. made a couple of kingy jokes, loves him no doubt.
The boys made a pact to thank kel moore at every opportunity, tight knit bunch.
Bachar very reluctant to take his glass of champers being a non drinker but did a visual toast, dusty downed his glass in one stiff armed craig willis to get to the waitress for another. (everything after downed in one is hearsay)
Had a smoke with craig willis but couldn't work up the courage to ask him to say"number 12 matthew riiiiiichardson" just once.
not very enlightening i know but i'm sure more will come to me...

There seemed to be a lot of jest in the gesture, dimma was smiling onstage when they did it during speeches. no indication it was a farewell...

I'm not so sure. Dimma mentioned a heap of players like even Derrickx and Connors but did he mention Moore?

I'm almost certain he did mention him, specifically re coming back next year. I was a little surprised as I had assumed the injury was career ending.

Dimma also specifically mentioned Miller re next year - Surprised there hasn't been more of a reaction re that!

Think we (I) have given up. As long as he is not promoted to the main list.
 
I think it's interesting that Riewoldt finished below Vickery. Jack had more kicks, doubled the amount of goals, and appart from Ty's few stints in the ruck, had far more impact on the game than Vickery.

I think this is more about expectation than reality, we expected Jack to do a bit more this year than Ty, and as it turned out Jack was marginally below expectations and Vickery well exceeded what we expected of him.

A little harsh on Jack I think who should have finished a little higher.

If next year is a super draft as they say, then it might make sense to have Miller on the list for one year rather than draft a dud this year who would have to get a two year deal.

Getting a bit tiresome IMO. Every function he's lauded by Dimma, I just don't get all that "love".

No, they just can't drink it and even that is open to how you interpret the various passages regarding alcohol in the Q'uran. Contradictory at best. (no surprise there if you're familiar with the bible)

You'd be surprised how many Muslims -practicing or otherwise- actually do drink. Spend any amount of time with Turks for starters.
