Little things that annoy you....

Yes it's much better that we all speak generic American-English now and have been shamed out of our old boringly unique ways.

I`m with you on this.

I hate the word "guys" being used instead of blokes or boys.

It sounds effeminate and has infiltrated the AFL, our coach uses it unfortunately.

Motorcyclists who believe it's their right to ride on the wrong side of the road to get past traffic, and then get shirty when you refuse to move out of their way.

Add to that cyclists on the road slowing traffic when there's a perfectly good bike path right along side.

Agree ToO.  Especially when there are double lines you can't get over on. (Edit-also when they ride a few abreast rather than single file, thus making it hard for cars to get past)

When you're a born worrier and the real time tracker you're following your son's yachting trip on hasn't updated for a few hours.

Mobile phone mania. The unresistable glance at the phone every minute or so throughout the day. Constantly magnetised to the phone when walking in public especially in the City near road traffic or when talking to someone.

This is realistically becoming a bad habit/disease among people in general.

Have had to fight the urge to knock a mobile device clean out of someone's hand, more than once.

Uneducated "Australians", hello by the way :wave

I'm sure you meant "people WHO say..." not "people that say...."

Not sure though. I'm uneducated.

Yep, people who walk along staring at their phone either looking at their messages or typing one out then stop. They stop right in front of you and when you take evasive action and brush by them give you a look like you've just attempted to run into them delibrately.

Exactly right Tuby.

The suicidal texters....that jaywalk across city streets with huge traffic arriving.

In the morning trains, RING RING RING RING RING.........." Hi, yeah I went out last night, had a great dinner blah blah blah.. OK see ya..." , 5 minutes later...." Hi, yeah I'm approaching Flinders Street now, I'll see you there"........10 minutes later...." I'm here now where are you?..."

Mobile phone calls have become a necessity in life.

People that use their Apple iPad as a phone with the gargantuan tablet held upright next to their ear.

Looks absolutely ridiculous.

Young people living at home with their parents, work full time,, telling me they are broke

In my cafe, I had one couple change their baby's nappy on my big communal table the other day. I found that a little annoying.

the fact that printer ink is more expensive than a printer WITH ink!
