[Freezer]

While they played the majority of their hits (notable exceptions being Tojo and Generation Gap) their performance was a little off in my opinion. They seemed intent on having big guitar finishes to a lot of the songs, which detracted from the pleasue of hearing those songs. I like a song to finish the way it's supposed to.

They also finished with a couple of songs no-one in the crowd knew which left the whole evening a bit flat. Don't get me wrong though, they were great to see and brought back plenty of great memories.

I took the family to London last year and my two boys and I wanted to find Lee Ho Fook's. So we wandered down to Soho and looked around for Chinatown and there it was. In the window was a plaque, "Lee Ho Fook's, as made famous in the song by Warren Zevon."

The boys and I went inside and shared a plate of Beef Chow Mein.

Now there is a song!

Geez I hate big guitar finishes, its so self indulgent. Always makes me think they're trying to wind down the clock. I'd rather they played the song as we all remembered it and whack another song in the set.

Was at that gig also Freezer. Agree that they seemed a little off and the encore was rubbish, however as a huge fan I loved it. Unfortunately my friends who weren't fans were decidely less impressed.
