He's got enough problems without us dumping on him over a domestic issue. And one that we know very little about.
:rofl :rofl :rofl poor david and his "problems" :hihi lets not dump on this traitorous piece of offal ? lets martyr the bastard;screw hicks and the life he will be able to live thru his blood money.

It's interesting that now the politics, false diplomacy and other horse-sh*t that has been exposed about his case and Howard's handling (non-handling?) of it that all the rabid righties on here feel compelled to rip into the bloke about his family situation now.

It's called vilification and some people on here are damn good at it.

Would have thought he would have wanted to rebuild a relationship with his kids.I think it spoor form too up & leave them so soon but he's done it before.

You said that earlier.

Heh heh "rabid righties." Like that though I think only Liverpool would qualify.

Don't think anyone is ripping into his family situation, only his willingness over the years to desert his kids. (And his country the rabid righties would say)

Exactly

He's overqualified if anything.

I would define anything to do with his kids to be part of his family situation.

SS, i wasnt trying to engender any sympathy for Hicks, i was just saying that i dont think it's any of our business whats going on with his family.

Most things on pre forum our probably none of our business but we can give opinions.

Sure, opinions are fine, but in this case I think most of them would be ignorant of what is going on in Hick's domestic life.

We know he's moved away from his kids once again.

Fair enough, I am sure you understand what I mean. What you post is your business.

It's called vilification and some people on here are damn good at it.

Whatever vilification Hicks receives has been brought on by one person.....DAVID HICKS.
If he lived a 'normal', law-abiding life like the majority of Australians, he wouldn't:

* have been in Afghanistan
* have been cohorting with a group aiding and abetting with terrorists
* have been captured
* have been sent to G-Bay
* have been in jail for 5 years
* and is now receiving what you call "vilification".

All this has happened due to DAVID HICKS himself....so maybe before he ran off to carry out his traitorous and murderous liaisons with rebels and terrorist groups in numerous countries, he should have thought about his relationship with his kids, his job prospects, and his "vilification" from the Australian public beforehand.
So now, he has to put up with it and take responsibility for his actions....and if he doesn't like the reception he receives from people, then stiff *smile*!

Nonsense,his kids stated they wanted to have a relationship with their father when he got out.Hicks has made sure that won't happen.
why won`t it happen?
he`s only moved to sydney,not kabul.
it`s pretty easy to travel back to see his kids in adelaide every now and then or speak to them on the phone every night.

Top quality rabid incoherence Poolman, but the point was he's now being vilified for whatever his qualities as a father are perceived to be, not for any of those things you mention.

Leaving kids behind in another state are hardly the actions of a caring father commited to their childs upbringing.
