Sure is year.

Last year was averaging 1.

This year double and he has missed a game or two?

Missed one with injury and one through suspension.

He'd be leading the BnF by a long way had he played every game imo.

Copped a decent mouthful from Dave for giving away that free kick in the backline.

Even the Coleman St Kev and Astbury sure pointed to his head to Caddy Baloo as it appeared Astbury had it covered !

:hihi

And deservedly so, thats good to see players keeping each other accountable on the field.

Come on man think about it was all Dave probably said to him.

You think so???

I think we are well in front at this stage

It's definitely a win/win, both clubs have done well. We obviously take the early points & have a premiership to show for it, Geelong do well given Parfitt still has 10 years of footy ahead of him. The Cats have used Menegola in the Caddy role so structurally they haven't taken much of a hit. Given our lack of marking targets Caddy has landed at the right club.

Maybe we should steal Menegola of them as well ;D

Parfitt 10 year player, not sure
Menagola would be lucky to be in the same room with caddy. Menagolas goals come from uncontested marks coming into forward fifty. When things are going well Menagola looks great, watch him against us
Menagola wasn't delisted by 2 clubs because he was a gun

Not sure what games you are watching but Menegola has been a huge presence up forward & in the midfield, not much separating them on form this year.

Menegola - 22 Disposals, 1.2 goals, 0.4 GA, 4.9 marks, 5.3 tackles
Caddy - 18 Disposals, 3 goals, 0.4 GA, 4.3 marks, 3.6 tackles

The only real difference being the goals but I dare say this will drop off for Caddy, can't see him sustaining that for an entire year. Not detracting from his form but he's top 5 in the Coleman which is very unfamiliar territory.

As for Parfitt, if the draft was redone he would be top 10 easily, has slotted into AFL football as seamlessly as anyone. 7 games this year & four have hit the 20 disposal mark which is a huge achievement for a second year player. Will also get 3 Brownlow votes for his 28 disposals & 3 goals vs St Kilda.

Got a text from my bro letting me know how well little Gazza played last night, I've been bagging him out all year as he's been drooling over how Gazza was going to be the key to this years flag.

Just thanked him for giving us Caddy n reiterated the relevant current win loss ratio.

All true Bully.

Only thing I'd suggest is given Menzel is out for what seems to be indefinitely, and they are supposedly in a premiership window, they'd have loved Caddy playing as a marking foil for Hawkins.

They've been hit hard on the injury front no doubt, Ratugolea was becoming a viable target too & has now been sidelined for the season. Can't wait for our round 13 game at the G, it's now becoming the hardest assignment in footy.

As for Wells, thought he was losing a bit of touch with some very questionable first round calls, Thurlow, Lang & Smedts all busts. But the thing with Geelong is they know when to fold & still have that handy knack of turning a sow's ear into a silk purse at the trade & draft table. If people are wondering how they have remained a top 4 side it's because they mop up mistakes like the Sopranos.

Remember when we used to get reamed in our trades, now we ream the opposition. Recruting the Caddy's cheaply and trading out of Deledio's and Vickery's for maximum value, it's been a pleasure to watch.

Right now, Josh Caddy is an All Australian.

Caddy having huge impacts on games, Menagola lacks hurt factor for me.

Menegola (and Tim Kelly) are impacting games as 5th or 6th best midfielders.

Caddy’s kicking goals as an undersized key forward in what is a pretty young forward line (Jack aside).

Cats would be happy with both Parfitt and Menegola (and the resulting salary cap space). But if you want a win a premiership this year, you want Caddy imo.
