With Vickery out, Stewart was/is going to be his replacement. Haven't heard anything for a while..
He won't get a game a head of Cameron Patton & Lobb.
Kicked 2 goals in today's GF including the winner.

It's a long time ago but Mr Smith goes to Washington is a classic James Stewart movie. He also was good in the Glen Miller story, enjoyed that movie.

He must be pretty old now

Ssshhhh. Jimmy's been dead near ten years now, bit worse than old. Still I guess we could prop him up somewhere deep forward n hope has some input to our game.

Rear Window is a good fillum

Chuck Harvey the Pooka in as the decoy forward now that the Invisible Beanie has gone.

He could be a good development option. You're right: he is way down the queue with those players ahead of him. The other thing is that he would be a cheap pickup given the GWS need to offload a few players

Much rather Jimmy Cagney at full forward than Jimmy Stewart, who is too much of a nice guy.

Being nice would fit well with our coach. Guaranteed a game every week. Even a nice dead male up forward would be better than Vicks Vapor Rub.

Dead?? Who cares, give him a 5 year contract. Being a skeleton by now, would frighten the opposition to death. Pardon the death useage.

Must target these types:

John Wayne Centre Half Forward

Charles Bronson Full Back

Mickey Rooney your classic rover

Gotta try and get Fred Astaire (or at least Gene Kelly) and play him on the wing

Who do we give up though?
Steven Seagal? If so, we need to hang on to Vince Vaughn for tall stocks. Maybe roll into the deal Brian Dennehy and Adam Baldwin (we sure got the wrong brother there!). Throw in Donald Pleasance as a sweetener.

Should we throw in Heath Ledger as the hard nut mid enforcer or the tip rat type small forward that everyone loves to hate?

What about John Wayne as a ruckman.

Clint Eastwood CHB / FB? Make my day. Be telling the FF , you feel lucky punt? Do ya?

I remember Shane Morrison couldn't get a game ahead of Jonathan Brown, and during the 5 games he played for us, we found out why.
