Jake Aarts

Struggled last couple of games but has been ok this season. Castagna has to go first. Wouldn't mind seeing MRJ getting a go, not that I think he would be that influential early on but it would be great experience. Cumberland, I'd really like to see him get through a few more games and perform before getting a go.

As is often the case he's not been the same since that article about him a few weeks ago.
 
Just allowed Stewart to run to all the way to 50m defensive line before kicking it after a behind and they scored a goal :bash
 
He bobbed up for about 5 minutes when we were up and about, did a couple of nice things, then disappeared again.
Not enough. he's nowhere near good enough, if we're not at 100%.
 
Not good enough of a footballer. A VFL captain.
 
Thanks for your efforts Jake. Sorry mate but you're not up to it. Time for us to move on.

Not up to it. Seen more than enough. Always seems to kick late goals though to retain his spot.
 
Sadly we all know he is not up to it but will get picked again as he is a Hardwick favourite. Thought he was clearly our worst player today. However he had some senior mates in a similar situation.
 
I reckon Jake and George would be playing in the 2nds at Suns or North on their 2021 body of work and form

theres no doubt they play the pressure roles and probaly as good as any , however when do we look at adding goals not pressure acts , times have changed , we need class forward of centre . I’ve never liked both in the same team but that’s just a persoal bias on small forwards . Really think Aarts or Georgie have to go out , those goals kicked stats mentioned during the telecast was bloody scary
