Ivan Soldo

If his knee doesn't come up he can always fall back onto porno, I suppose. But as you would well know there is no money in it for blokes. That's why he's had to resort to football in the first place.
You are correct as usual Jack.
I’ve made very little coin out of a long career in fluffing.
But I have had a very good time and the view from my office is spectacular

Your reputation in office porno precedes you, DA. Who could forget "Little Ivvy cleans the typing pool"? That repro vintage stuff is gold. "Little Ivvy makes good fax." Or "Read this optical character, my little love machine" (Featuring Little Ivvy and Adobe Acrobat.)

Did we dodge a bullet with him?
We did quite well with the trade because in the end Soldo at Port is the same as Soldo at Richmond. That's a good foot soldier who is never going to be a consistent number 1 ruck but gives you a good contest and great effort.

Not knocking him for that at all but that's who he is

Exactly - never a number one ruckman given that the days of the old-fashioned tap ruck are long gone. Great soldier and clubman though - good on him for coming late to AFL and carving out a good career (and a premiership).

I wonder if Jack Graham is still interested in going back to Sa, or if he's now set on Wa.

"Just one season into his Power career, ruckman Ivan Soldo is ‘disenchanted’ with the club and is ‘a watch’ this trade period, according to SEN reporter Sam Edmund on Tuesday.

Soldo requested a trade from Richmond to Port Adelaide just last year, but after starting the season promisingly has been usurped by fellow 2023 arrival Jordon Sweet ahead of a crucial finals series."

according to the article Will Phillips is set to sign on for 1 year. Bad career move IMO. I'd rather him than Tsitas & Hobbs personally, but wouldn't trade anymore than a 3rd rounder for him - ideally get him for free in the psd if no standout was available.
