I love paella, bit hit and miss getting the bottom crispy for me though, that's the business.

Risotto is better. Parmigianna with a bit of Balsamic vinegar sprinkled on top. Time for lunch ..

I'm a fan of both, and Pilaff, any spicey flavor-filled rice dish is good. Every nation has one. When I was in Colombia this bloke used to sell 'aroz con pollo' (chicken and rice) on the street out of a wheelbarrow. I think he cooked it in the wheelbarrow. Geez it was good.

I knew a bloke who got a letter from the electoral commission. It said basically 'our records show you know longer live at this address', and that they were taking him off the electoral roll. True story. He was perplexed, but hasn't voted since and hasn't heard anything from them since. Kind of deleted.

lucky bastard. I'd give my eyes to keith, to get beauracratically deleted.

I like to cook paella with fennel.

you should cook a monster fennel paella in a designer wheelbarrow down out the front of PRO Mick. It'd have to have some effect on something? Surely?

the wheelbarrow wasn't much chop actually. Well used. The rice and chicken was good. It was a wheelbarrow/ frypan hybrid. He would have lit a fire or put a gas burner under it and cooked a giant arroz con pollo, the wheel was all steel. I saw him a few times and thought 'it must be a bit risky'. Then one day after a big night, I thought 'bugger it, lay it on me'. Scooped some onto a paper plate, offered his array of chilli sauces, $1, away you go.

That pseudo-intellectual *smile* isnt starting up again is it? I dont get that stuff, plus my shrink said I have to avoid it.
