Media / paparazzi have feasted on public figures forever. Nothing we post here will change it. Caroline speculating that proper processes haven't been followed is dubious at best. Telling us how we feel annoys me but not worth my mental effort.
Who knows how he used the 'Mrs Hardwick' brand internally. So not unreasonable to speculate that he could lose moral authority with some - but you just can't know unless you are there and with candor and honesty it may be that he didn't know how to handle the breakdown of the relationship and may have used this as cover even. I've gone through a recent separation and you end up lying to protect a public image of unity even when it isn't all great internally. I think if after you are honest about it and what you have learnt then you lose no authority whatsoever, and may even build a greater resilience and communication in the group. If it becomes something that is taboo / awkward then could impact some communication, but really shouldn't be such a big deal in a footy environment as the media tries to make it.

Hope Dimma is getting some support from Mark Brayshaw the President of the Coaches Association.
This media hounding of a coach's personal life needs to be called out as entirely unacceptable.
FFS coaches are under enough pressure these days just for their football & we've seen many coaches in recent times suffer from mental health issues.
I'm sure Hardwick is strong mentally but I can't imagine having these type of invasive pap snaps in the 'press' do anyone's mental health any good.
The Herald Sun should be told in no uncertain terms to back the *smile* off.

We are like Doriumus, we straighten up after the bye.
I think the media will be very careful not to go to hard because they know that external noise seems to bring the group closer.
I have faith we have kids good enough to help us get this year's flag.

we'd need to know the causes behind the loses before saying where our season is heading from there
off the back of the scratch match and the JLT game I'm comfortable that we'll start the season in very good shape
Didn't see Caro's work. Disappointing take. 30 yrs is a good stretch. I hope the split hasn't been nasty but they're grown ups and marriages end. The "Mrs Hardwick" thing was hardly a major strategy it was an off-the-cuff line that just became a running joke I suspect, not a "brand", give me a spell.
