Gee that's the spirit Disco. :clapping. Hatred of the Pies should transcend family loyalties.

Yup, Mum is a devoted Pie, can't wait to rub it in when they get pumped......Go Cats!

I think Geelong will win but they have more to lose than Collingwood. 5 years of utter dominance and only two premierships to show for it would be considered a wasted opportunity. Collingwood's window will be open for a while yet.

just my neutral opinion... i think the cats are almost certainties as long as steve johnson gets up

Pies to lose by a point after the siren. This would make my day.

I'd prefer the Cats winning by 20 goals. Ideally it will be a 10 goal difference at 1/4 time so the tears start nice and early for the toothless.

I voted couldn't care less.

We all really.

I want the game of football to win.

A close entertaining game and then after that it's Tiger time.

I'll be happy for my gf,sis and mum if the Pies get up and my dad and I will grin under clenched teeth.

Hope she isn't reading this, bless her soul.

She barracks hard for Richmond everytime I take her to the Richmond games but she's black and white through and through.
She loves our new facilities and the way our crowd is so loyal and passionate and I say ,well yes WE ARE RICHMOND!

I think the weather has turned it back for Collingwood to get over the line. If it was a dry, sunny day I reckon the Cats would flog the Magpies, but cold, wet and very damp underfoot evens up the ledger and Collingwood have a habit of grinding out wins when they have to.

Bah! to the weather.

Will do some burning off on Saturday if it's dry. Sort of a GF day tradition for me. If wet, clean out the spare room.

The week following gf is a media ban in my house. No radio . No tv. No news is good news. (PRE only). I did this last year and it was very worthwhile. Saved me a lot of angst. Recommend.

I had cats picked but slowly changing my mind everyone is writing pies off to easily.
They played terrible last week and still won with 1 quarter . Watch out cats if they decide to play 4 quarters and they click this weekend.
Pies are very similiar to that of the lions in 2003 lead up into Granny i rekon.

Also Bet your bottom $ that pies players also have extra motivation not that it should be needed, MM factor last game and all, they will be desperate to win.

cats also have a few new players in the 1st granny, Podsiadily, Trent West, Christiansen,Duncan + new coach .

Pies only have Krakouer and Reid i think.

I don't recall such a shift in the betting markets during GF week since betting on the footy was legalised. Geelong have come in a quarter of a ponit this week - that's a massive plunge in a 2 horse race. Money talks, more so this time of year. Cats rain, hail or shine for me.

I just can't wait for it all to be over so that we can move on to the true highlight of every year for all of us devoted Tiger supporters, THE DRAFT!!!

I picked Collingwood.

My logic is that if they win they might get a bit comfortable and with Buckley taking over might drop off a bit next year and we won't have to put up with all this Collingwood crap in next years GF.
