Goodbye Mabior Chol

Credit where it's due, he had a tremendous game (Herald Sun had him BOG, maybe going a tad too far). His goal now is to be consistent, that's been his deficiency. I certainly won't be complaining if he plays like that every week, in particular, his intent.

I think a lot of his Sunday performance can be put down to how we managed him.

Both Chol and Soldo only played about 60% of game time, with one on and then the other with some overlap.

Chol fresh is a weapon, and he was pretty much fresh the whole game. He read the play really well, puttin ghimself in good and dangerous positions. The only slight knock is that he was occasionally a fraction late getting in for the spoil, but geesh, if he keeps putting performances like that in, then he's a walk up start!

I'm bingeing on watching Cholly play but there's not much around except for yesterday's game.

Must be a definite in against the Chokers in 4 weeks coz I wanna see the cool dude smash that Lanky Yank.

am i the only one who noticed mabiors traditional richmond 'jumper haircut?

Is he still eligible for a Rising Star nomination?
Nah mate.....too old I believe. Cut off is 21. .... tho come to think of it he turned 22 in January. Will check

Put my hand up.... I'm WRONG! (I think)

A player is nominated for the award each round during the AFL season by a panel of experts; to be eligible for nomination, the player must be aged 21 or under on 1 January that year, and have played ten or fewer AFL games as of the start of the season.

Impressed with his performance. Looked comfortable out there which is a key to seeing if kids will make it in the long run. His take from the ruck to waltz into the goals was great stuff.

Have they announced the winner of this weeks Rising Star nomination yet? Isn’t it usually done by now?
