Golf

Geez Stricker blew it. Was on fire then bogied the last two holes – the one on the 18th being an absolutely woeful effort. Fancy being just 131 yards from the hole and missing the entire green right (and long) with a wedge. Even his chip was terrible.

Rob Allenby apparantly not so nice words to say about playing in Australia.

Well if he feels that way he knows what he can do.

Yeah, just a call from Woodsie. Reckons he STILL wants more help with the swing. Bloody hell the bloke is hard work.

As for Allenby, not happy about drunken and loutish crowds here in Australia jibing him about his dying mum.

Surely punters didnt harrass him re the condition of his mother Reds,

Thats *smile*en low if true.

The SEN news report I heard mentioned that she passed away.

Yes she did (rip) however i think Reds is alluding to the tournament where they had the party hole which upset Allenby i dont recall people saying things about his mum but if true then thats *smile* and if it happened to me i would of bent a 2 iron over the head of any prick that said something like that.

He said somthing tantamount to no prestige down here re tournaments, and that the media and fans dont give the respect due, somthing along those lines.

There was an article in the Australian yesterday that had a lot of quotes from his interview at Bay Hill on the weekend. In it, he refers to drunken scumbags yelling out at him and referring to his dying mum not being there to help him.

The party hole concept is a disgrace and does not fit with golf. Its just a desparate attempt by the organisers to raise a bit of cash, albeit at the expense of the prestige of tournaments.

Allenby is spot on with respect to the bogans and losers who know jack about golf at carve up on the course.

Dissapointing to hear that Dear Redders

Thats un Australian and a *smile* disgrace. As i am still coming to terms with losing my father if someone said that to me there would be uppercuts flying all over the joint.

Understand that Craig but Allenby appears to be complaining about everything (apart from his late mum).If the crowd were saying these things about his mum its pretty ordinary.Aside from that Allenby has had issues with caddies, crowds ,officials ,he's one unhappy chappy.
