Golf

Sorry tm was aimed at Rudeford and his extremely poor game , I bet he doesn’t even know what a pitch repairer is
Since when is golf played on a pitch you doofus ??? Having said that, your club’s greens are like cricket pitches so maybe that’s what you use over there.

PGA Tour After Round 3 Jason Day Made the Cut Shot 67 to stand at 7 under
Leaders at 18 under

Huddo wins the Amex in the desert. Unreal eagle on 16 gets it done for him. Love that whole Cochella Valley. Awesome.

Farmers Insurance this week at Torrey Pines just outside San Diego. Played that course a couple of times. Meh. Great scenery but average course. Cracking field though. Australians normally do well here. Maybe it’s all the gum trees on course.

Might have a bet on this.

I've had a nibble on Leish.

Tempted on Lanto and Barjon at decent odds.

Going to have a punt on my man Scottie Scheffler, and might put some on last years winner, Patrick Reed, the cheating runt.

My boy Day at -9.
Not sure JD can keep pressing over 4 rounds yet, but if he can recover to near 100% from his back ailments (??), still think there are not that many better all-round players on the US tour.

Positive signs good to see though.

You see Bryson, as was easy to predict, is running into his own health problems ? Back, wrist.

That swing will not stand up to hitting tens of thousands of golf balls, year in year out. He needs to throttle it back or he’s gonna have a short career - or at least limit himself greatly.

Agree. It's a classic mistake to think sheer distance is so significant in golf, a sport where a 350 yd drive is the same on the scorecard as a 2cm kick-in. Most modern pros can get it ~ 300 yds out anyway. A sharp short game makes more difference.
