Wouldn’t be often J Day is the shortest hitter in the group

Yes.

With who they are playing with we might get to see a bit of Day and Smith, but who knows with the Yanks pathetic coverage.

If Tigers playing well you won’t see anybody else

He could be four over after six and they'll still show everyone of his shots. It's why I prefer to skip the TV coverage and watch it online.

True.

I’m tipping DeChambeau an Scott leading Aussie

Watching the Par 3 comp, bloody amazing how it’s so laid back an casual at the biggest golfing event of the year.

Surprised to read that no one has ever won it and the Masters in same year.

Impressive leaderboard, Tiger left a few shots out there. Setup for a great tournament.

Jason Day "injured" again, he never fails to accentuate his problems. Wish he attracted attention to himself purely for his golf. Not much about him that's very likeable.

Good to see all the Aussies in contention. Koepka's record of late is going to make him hard to beat. Surprising that Rose and Casey have started so poorly.

Never seen such a quality group at top of leaderboard after Rd 1 of a Masters. Almost no hope for anyone who is not under par.

Got some pre-post on Xander, Rory and Hideki.

But keen to lose a bit more. Who are y’all backing?

Xander has a good round happening, shot 3 under the front nine, is at amen corner now. A good chance to be vying for the lead with a good back nine.

Xander shooting the lights out, 6 under for the round through 16, hardly getting a mention from the commentators.

An over officious official just ankle tapped Tiger. Tiger looked to have hurt his ankle, but appears to be ok.

Neil breen article in the age saying days first rd was as brave as any seen at Augusta. Please, if he was that injured he wouldn’t be equal leader. Despite being Aust would rather almost anyone else win it.

Compulsive viewing coming up on the weekend.
