Speith's 12th hole made him look like a weekend hacker.

His 3rd shot after the drop, a chip over the water didn't even get halfway across.

Even the best players in the world can blow up.

And Danny Willett comes from the clouds shooting a bogey free 67. A great round under extreme pressure.

I like Koepka, and have backed him along with, Reed, Walker, Hoffman and Berger. Happy days if any of them can get up, especially Berger at $251

Backed the above in the US Masters, 2 weeks later Hoffman wins and Reed comes second.

No i didn't back them!!!!

Good to see Ryan Ruffles tie for 20th in New Orleans, 8 under. Just turned 18 a couple of days ago, Australia's next big thing.

Son of Ray Ruffels the Aussie tennis player. Decent player who made it to maybe 30-40 in the world.

Yes in the days of Phil Dent, he was a pretty handy player as well.

Heard on the radio Speith, Day and McIroy all coming of wins playing this week.

I'll have my money on Jason Day, he has won 7 of his last 17 tournaments, that amazing golf.

Back to Oakmont, this time sans trees. Best of luck to Leish, Koepka, Kuch and Hideki.

I see Day is doing his usual pre-torney whinge about an illness. He may be the world's best golfer but he comes across as a bit of a walking soap opera.

Expecting Day will do well. Hoping fabulous Phil gets up but reckon this course will kill him. My smokey would be Fowler.

Been following Rick Sheils and Peter Finch on youtube golf and hoping Sheils qualifies for the Brit open.

Leishman and Striker are my smokeys

I like Leish, too. Taken him in some group and country multis.

If by "Striker" you mean Stricker, good luck, as he's not saddling up after just missing qualifying. Shame, as the course would suit him.
