Geelong Floppers

Watch Gryan Miers...there are a lot of contenders at the cats but this guy I reckon is No 1 for staging/diving/flopping. Just about every time he appeared on the TV screen last night he was asking for a free kick. And I will never forget the one he tried to suck vs Bachar in the prelim last year. He deserves to be booed AFL wide.

i didn't really watch the game. i switched off after Duckwood went of injured and stuffed up my multi. but I did see Geelong fans complaining on social about the Dumpires after the game. This is exactly why I hate Geelong more than Collingwood. Biggest bunch of sooks. It feel dirty seeing Grigg in their training gear.

Reckon he’ll be a bit more reluctant to dive in the vicinity of Josh Caddy

young greg-brian's days as a senior footballer are numbered I think.

nothing personal.

he is incredibly one sided, and the arc he has complete to execute his absurd across the body chip kick means he runs into traffic again and again and again.

this means he stays way, way outside,

and stages for free kicks whenever he is in traffic.

I think he'll be in the VFL before long, stay there for a couple of years, then traded to someone a bit gullible who saw his TAC grand final,

They did get a rooting from the umps but IMO was nowhere near the reason they lost. If you want to beat Collingwood you need to move the ball quickly, so that they defensive setup doesn't get a chance to setup. The slow boring style of Geelong will tend to struggle against the Pies IMO. The same reason why they now struggle to beat us, slow and steady generally doesn't beat the best defences, but thats Chris Scotts 1 wood. He doesn't have a 2 wood and thats why they struggle so much in finals.

Brilliant summary.
It looks like clubs aren't even prepared to take the game.
It plays into there hands.
Have a look Buckley, he actually believes he is a super coach.
God help us if they win it.
'Eddie planned this 10 years ago'
'Persistence plays off for the pies'
'Collingwood establish themselves as a power house"

Cats only missing Stewart Stanley and Duncan at a quick glance.

Admittedly all 3 wouldve been very handy for them last night against the Maggots, but they are the only names really missing for the Cats and Jenkins hasnt turned out.

Theyve got nothing coming up from the junior ranks.

I not concerned we have been poor & still had them for 2.5-3 1/4's & if not for out poor 1st term we beat them. What they are doing is giving teams the whole season to figure them out. Same as they are all giving us the whole season to figure out beating the flood.

Thier form isn't overly flash either, lost to Carlton & Almost got overrun by the Dees of all sides. No bowling alley against the rubbish sides to get them to Finals either.

Geelong have gotten off Scott free.

Miers falls more than a leaf in Malvern halfway through April.
Dangerfield went missing in a big game, not for the first time.
Salty Scott coached an appalling game plan.

They lost their best player and look at the age of the top 10 in the B & F. (Age at end of next season)

1. Patrick Dangerfield - 268 votes (30 prime time but running out)
2. Tim Kelly - 259.5 votes (26 GONNNNEEE)
3. Tom Stewart - 251 votes (27 in his prime)
4. Tom Hawkins - 250 votes (32 past prime)
5. Mark Blicavs - 247 votes (29 in his prime, maybe past it)
6. Luke Dahlhaus - 245 votes (28 past his prime)
7. Gary Ablett - 241.5 votes (36 past his prime)
8. Mitch Duncan - 240.5 votes (29 prime but running out)
9. Joel Selwood - 239 votes (32 aging quickly)
10. Gryan Miers - 238 votes (will have 456 falls between now and end of next year, safety hazard)

One player under 27!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A cliff is coming, fast. And they don't see it coming. Very Richmond in the final years of Spuds list set up.

This looks uglier now. Who has got better on this list?

Yep Dangerflop, Duckwood, and Duncan the instructors.

Miers fast rising through the ranks to Top Gun Flopper status too.
And miers won’t put his head over it so is gunna struggle to convert his flops to frees. Umps will almost punish his flopping ala Lindsay Thomas.
