As i had predicted all week pickett will cost us this game. Has been ports best player so far. Complete deer in the headlights.

Well Ladham has probably beeen "our" Best, so it's still 22 per side at least.

Need to play smart. Still losing our feet too often and removing ourselves from the contest.

Ruck and centre clearances were promising early.

Really surprised at such a lack of poise, too many fumblers. Not prepared to pick the ball up and try and use it. Too many kicking off the ground. wasted FL entries again. JR8 missed mark, looks so slow as we know.
Pickett terrible. Cotchin has lost a vital yard.

Defensively we've been pretty good. Grimes and Vlastuin particularly. Can't quite get our ball movement forward of centre quite right, just missing players means we have to either take possession and get tackled or go off the ground which we've done a few times. If we can get that connection a bit better we will get a lot of looks at goal.

Our type of game...down and dirty. Will get nothing from umpires so need to make stop the ball from going over the top. Toby had to punch that ball 20m forward but unfortunately just glanced it. Still feeling good.

Disappointing last few minutes of that quarter. Gotta say they look like the side playing 4th PF in a row. We look very panicky and unsteady. Pickett terrible. Houli panicking. Blokes just throwing it on the boot straight to Port players. And they are killing us out the back.

We really need to settle.

Yeah, Ladhams has been shocking for them. Evens up his performance from the last time we played them.

Just got to absorb the early heat and try and get the first one

Prestia and Pickett both pulling up .... not on in these conditions and finals footy if you hope to advance. The time for "easy kicks" finished 2 weeks ago and players of this calibre shouldn't need to be told that.

Defensively really poor (so fumbly) plus our entries inside 50 not effective enough - not to advantage & coming out too easily. Lynch needs to lead & crash bodies. Astbury not working as second ruck. Port rucks smashing it forward as Collingwood did in 2018. Pickett awful - ducked head in marking contest again & fumbled everything.

Very noticable too is Marlion's sheepishness ...... no time for timidness at stage, get him off if he's not willing to go at it fiercley 100%

Right now he looks like a faux tough guy.

great when he has someone lined up but skittish when it’s his time to go.
