Game Of Thrones

If you want information and some relatively discourse don't go to Westeros. It would be one of the darkest, nastiest corners of the web. A better place is The Tower of the Hand. Aside from the discussions about the show and the books, it's also got an online encyclopedia, which is handy. If you just want to discuss the show try Winter is Coming, that was set up purely for that purpose. Going to be interesting to see how they handle the changes from the books next season.

Any chance you could post a link.

Cheers

Season 3 finale very good viewing.

Quite a few scenes gave me the old goose bumps - and I've read the books!

Ask and ye shall receive, this is a link to Tower of the Hand: http://towerofthehand.com/
and this is Winter is Coming: http://winteriscoming.net/
Don't get it confused with Is Winter Coming? which is basically the unofficial site of the anti fans. It can be funny at times, but mostly they just rag on George and his more devoted fans for taking 5 - 6 years to produce A Dance with Dragons.
Yes, Nat Bochenski's reviews in The Age were hysterical. I used to look every week just to see what threats she could come up with for people posting spoilers. There's a podcast my wife likes to listen to as well, done by a mob that call themselves the DVMP Empire.
S4 will contain most of the 2nd half of Storm of Swords and probably start some of the storylines in A Feast for Crows. Despite the length of Feast and Dance there's a lot of padding in both books (I believe it was about then George started to ignore Anne Groell's editorial advice, never mind Anne, Connie Willis did the same thing with Blackout/All Clear and still won the Hugo) and I think they could probably quite easily combine them into one season and start out breaking new ground in S6.
Who is leading the must die a horrible death first poll? I have Joffrey at number 1, closely followed by Walder Frey.

Don't forget Roose and his bastard son, then again no one liked Theon from the start.

Just on Theon, between the long wait between books, and then the amount of time he was absent in the books, I forgot he was castrated in his transformation to Reek.

One of the things the show shocked me. Didn't remember it to be able to see it coming.

Good to see the tiger boys are getting into Game of Thrones : check out this weeks Roar Vision.

Finally watched season 3. Well I certainly wasn't expecting that to happen in Episode 9.
