Game Day vs Western Bulldogs

If anything tonight showed we desperately need a ruckman. Nank competes but his hit outs are woeful. 9/10 end up down the oppositions throat.

We say that everytime he gets selected. This will now be the 11th time in 37 games he's been dropped. How many chances can someone who's clearly not good enough get?

He deserves a few more than Brenda, The *smile* Truck and Cantstandya

Pretty ordinary and disappointing performance.
Seemed like the Tigers had little purpose or direction tonight.
Reckon there are plenty of players struggling and the lesser lights are suffering as a consequence.

It looks like we have reached a tipping point with injuries where we are just ordinary. Collingwood would have beaten us by twenty goals tonight.

We're yet to kick over a 100 points too so far.
Our midfield is *smile* that’s why. Who in the *smile* midfield is winning at the moment, who? And then they kick it into the forward line Castagna style.

This looks like it has to be our kick in the arse year. Next year may be our last chance for a while looking the age of our best players

Yeah it happens, not pretty but with so many young players and injuries it was going to happen at some stage

I hope Dusty is injured - otherwise he needs to be dropped. He has done nothing tonight or for the past few months.

I am wondering when someone is going to call the throwing the ball by the Bulldog players. They are blatantly allowed to theow without sanction. It needs to be addressed. It is cheating.

This loss hurts. We have some passengers in the team at the moment - one bigger than Dusty but he has a few mates. Time to call on a few other kids.

113 less disposals, 12 less clearances, 11 less contested possies, Naughton had as many contested marks as our whole team, even less tackles. This was a comprehensive loss. And bulldogs have been cr@p this year. Very few positives.

To all the know alls on here that predicted a great percentage boost tonight please now realise your knowledge of professional football is not strong. At the moment we are a young middle of the road team that plays great for a couple of weeks then fails for a week or two. Our on field leadership is non existent and the kids lose their way under extreme pressure. No use blaming individuals this is a team failing that has to be addressed. We got beaten at our own game tonight. Hate losing but hate how people blame individuals more for what was a poor team performance.

Re gameplan, I think it's very hard to know until Riewoldt and Lynch play a run of games together.

The fact we've found some young guns in this stretch is a very big silver lining imo.

If someone said we'd 4-3 with our injuries, I'd have probably taken it tbh. Do need to beat Hawthorn next week though.

We play Freo interstate.....AGAIN!!....while the Chokers can still sit back and relax at home.

Well, why cop these many injuries when Lynch arrives?? I reckon they really *smile* up someway in pre-season this time. Maybe taking it lightly to build up for later in the season has actually become worse for us than better.

There is no Plan B on game day.
Too much reliance on the "system"

When the system is broken - you look to fix it.
Try man on man when the "guarding the space press" is being taken apart. Stop the cheap possessions teams rack up. Make it contests and force teams to earn the marks and kicks.

Yep. It's gotta change!!

This will be the best game they will play all year, I can assure you.
Tonight we lost to a very ordinary side!

they have struggled to kick goals. 7.9.7 & 9 in the last 4 weeks. they kicked 11 after qtr time

In hindsight replacing two KPP with two wingman was not smart.
