Shouldve kicked at least another goal if wasn't for typical Bolton brain fart. Mac2 on makes sense to me. More pace and power.
Shocking second quarter by us. All the frustrating RFC trademarks; Bolton blowing an easy shot at goal from 30m dead in front instead deciding to pass and missed the target. Pickett butchering the ball inside 50m and kicking out on the full at least twice. Weird decisions to bring the ball inside to congestion and missing the target.
First 20 minutes was great but we've really tried to let the Saints back in after that. Lucky they were too *smile* to take advantage. That may not continue second half though.

They look more lethal at the high ball with King. Lucky he can't kick straight. Lefau and Kosi don't look like taking a contested mark. Bolton looks more likely

However most of us wanted JVR on a positional need. Not sure that many were calling him a bust but many were concerned on his contested stuff.
Anyway we’re all very happy to see the improvement. He looks comfortable at this level now.
Sub Kosi off. He's had his moment from a free kick otherwise he has looked like a fish out of water. The game looks foreign to him. His effort in the first quarter wehere he made 3 basic skill errors in 10 seconds was ridiculous.
Don't need him today and he's not doing anything anyway. Lefau, Bolton and Dusty can be targets. Get Kane on and give us some more midfield run.
With no tall forwards of note Id suspect this ground is helping the Tigerrs somewhat to squeeze them up and hold them up.
